This bank was chosen by the establishment I purchased my RV from. Had I known the amount of incompetence with in the loan department, I would have gone with another company. It has been one continuous nightmare, for the past month, do not proceed with bank loans through them, beware!!

Honesdale national just helped me get a commercial loan for an investment property. Sara was on the ball throughout the entire process and and went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. I will be using them for all my future loans !

a very good experience as i introduced my three children to the investment to have accounts of cd's in my and their name----it was most helpful that CARRIE was their to lend a guiding hand --gave a sense of security

Tired of banks not understanding and caring about their customers. Yesterday 2 items came in and overdrew my bank account $153. I dont have car as its in garage and wife and son were at work. My son came home and I put $200 cash into my checking account. They told me they were on next day and I explained situation..didn't matter. So you would think ok 1 overdraft fee but nope 2 overdraft fees of $70 total. I called bank today and manager wasn't in but customer service rep said she would email him and call me back. I waited close to 2 hrs and made a decision to walk over 2 miles to the bank so not to have another $35 fee. Took me close to 1 hr to walk there. Get there and told no they won't do it. So I deposit my money and leave. Not satisfied I call corporate office and they transfer me to main branch where that employee tells me nope can't do anything that since I open my account 19 years ago I have had 400 overdrafts. My reply was yeah and I paid them. I told him tired of banks not caring about customers and always about money and i plan to leave a review on social media..His reply was oh yeah well how would you like if we told people you owe us $300,000.......i told him go ahead that I filed bankruptcy..lost restaurant and they have the restaurant...and I told him if he did im sure my attorney i used would really like that. Then I told him to screw off but not in as pg rated.Come to learn banks don't care about people..bottom line is whats important and at any expense. There needs to be a voice. Thank you Honesdale National Bank for lack of any compassion. If I'm the bad guy for wanting to voice my concerns and share my experience then so be it.

Absolutely terrible bank to deal with. I have for several years and they have just gone down hill. No one can answer questions and knows what’s going on.
