We scheduled a state inspection with over-night turnaround, clearly stating we needed the car back by 9:30 AM the next day. Despite confirming this multiple times—including at drop-off—the shop scheduled four cars for the same 8 AM slot, even though they only have two bays.
They called at 8:30 to confirm our car would be ready on time. We arrived at 9:20, and the car came out at 9:30. However, the front desk employee chose to engage in a long, unnecessary conversation with another customer about tires instead of checking us out. I finally had to ask at 9:50, which made me late for my next appointment.
While the staff was polite the night before, the scheduling and customer service were poorly managed. Don’t expect PepBoys to respect appointment times or urgency.

I had a weird glitch with my car. Arriving there with my windows stuck open, the techs moved my car inside and got right to work. They had to keep it over night but the best day called me several times giving me play by play updates so that I was aware of what was going on. Overall everyone was kind and very helpful which was great in way was a stressful and confusing car issue.

My hat off to Andrew at the Allison Park location for excellent service on a Sunday morning. Not only did he and his tech fix my problem, they alerted me to developing issue that will allow me to address it before it becomes more serious!
Thanks Andrew, you did great today. If you continue like this you will build a huge customer base that can count on you and your team.
