“I purchased a backyard, buddy, boat trailer lift at the Good Guys car event in Colorado. I’m very happy with the lift itself. Delivery was very prompt and good communication along the way.
A friend of mine and I put it together. I figured a mechanical engineer and an aircraft mechanic could figure it out. We found the directions to be a little bit lacking.
A couple items that I think could be improved. I found the locking mechanism to be a little bit wonky. ( I think I can work on the rigging on it to make it a bit better. )
With this particular lift, I need to move the tire rails in and out for the boat and then back for vehicles. I think designwise this could be improved upon with a little bit of Teflon some quick release pins that are easier to access and some additional consideration for where the rails go. More specifically where the holes are drilled to secure the rails.
All in all, I am very happy with the lift.”
