“I stopped in at Hanover Hyundai yesterday to ask a simple question that York failed to answer. Terry was the first person I came into contact with as I walked in. I expressed my issue and she did what she could to help me. Another lady (Kim) joined into the conversation and said she'd print me out instructions for what i needed. Before I knew it, all 3 of us were in full blown conversation about my Palisade. I hadn't realized there was a Hyundai in Hanover. What started as stopping in for a quick question, turned into an houf and a half of probably the best service at a car dealership I have ever had. Why? “I purchased a backyard, buddy, boat trailer lift at the Good Guys car event in Colorado. I’m very happy with the lift itself. Delivery was very prompt and good communication along the way.
A friend of mine and I put it together. I figured a mechanical engineer and an aircraft mechanic could figure it out. We found the directions to be a little bit lacking.
A couple items that I think could be improved. I found the locking mechanism to be a little bit wonky. ( I think I can work on the rigging on it to make it a bit better. )
With this particular lift, I need to move the tire rails in and out for the boat and then back for vehicles. I think designwise this could be improved upon with a little bit of Teflon some quick release pins that are easier to access and some additional consideration for where the rails go. More specifically where the holes are drilled to secure the rails.
All in all, I am very happy with the lift.”
