I don't generally take time to do reviews but I had a great experience here. I came in on a weekend in need of help with sick trees purchases elsewhere at Lowes and they were useless for help and even gave me bad advice. The woman I spoke to at Pleasant Hill was knowledgeable, kind, and gave me the advice I needed to figure out why my Arborvitae trees bought at Lowes were dying. Turned out the newly planted grass I was watering nearby was also overwatering the trees through the ground and causing them to turn brown and die. I followed her directions stopped watering right away, pulled back all the mulch around the ground level and they are doing great now 2 weeks later. I'm definitely going here for future landscaping needs to give them a try. Customer service, kindness, knowledge and all to a person who wasn't even buying anything.

I have shopped here a several times purchasing annuals/perennials/evergreens and the owners don't like to be bothered in general and even more so when you have questions. However, most recently dealing with a landscaper in doing a complete rehaul around my patio, he informed me that the Nadina that I purchased from this nusery is invasive! This was a plant they recommended to me as having a range of color, berries and an evergreen shrub. If you google nadina, the berries contain cyanide which can be toxic to birds and pets.I would expect a nusery to know what is invasive and either NOT sell it or at least inform you these details as I have pets and a bird lover.I try to purchase local and support small businesses, but due to these experiences and the nadina. I purchased over $600 from onlinenuseries who had lots of info on their products online and free shipping.

My family and I stopped by today and when I went in to ask for a specific flower the lady behind the counter immediately said to me in a rude tone, I am offended by your shirt, I was wearing a shirt that was anti Biden. I looked at her smiled and asked again for a specific flower and she refused to speak to me. When my wife walked in the lady proceeded to acknowledge and talk to her, I turned around and walked out when my wife came out I told her we will not support or spend our money here and we left.If you are running or working at a business it's ok to have your own political beliefs or views but you should keep them to yourself as you are there to service the customer not refuse them service because of a t-shirt.

Went here because it said “Landscaping Help”. Don’t bother going inside to ask questions. Typically you ask questions because you don’t know something and when talking to the old lady inside she was rude, condescending and frankly not in the mood to help. I went in to see if there was someone who could assist us in looking at certain things and they’d rather sit and stand at the desk and tell you nothing. The lady actually said there is no suck thing as year round color! I thought part of landscaping was to provide year round color….. long story short because I could go on……. The old lady at the desk is simply rude! They guy tried to help but wasn’t getting up to do so. There was others being assisted by employees walking all over the property and talking about ideas for their gardens so I’m not sure what the problem was. Was prepared to spend a few thousand dollars today or even consider waiting three months and have them do it which they suggested but didn’t bother getting any other info except to say it’s three months out.Never going back and I’m not sorry to say it would have been a nice sale today! They probably don’t need the money or business since this is how they handle things.

Quality workmanship, competitive pricing, great customer service! We recently hired Pleasant hill garden center to move and replace a retaining wall and install pavers around our pool and build a paver walkway from our front gate down to the pool area. They showed up when they said they would and Jim was always available for any questions or concerns. We are very happy with their work. I highly recommend Jim and his team and we will be hiring them to do some more work in the spring.

Pretty unprofessional customer service. I called to see if they sold mint seeds and was rushed off the phone. They sounded like they had no time to help customers and I felt very unwelcome even just calling this pace.
