Dropped my car off to get some work, on an engine mount that was seriously damaged. Mind you i don’t necessarily know what’s wrong with my car at the time. I also mentioned my driver side door handle that needed replacement, along with some lights. They quoted me at $795 for everything. Dropped it off around 3pm on the 8/20/24. Came back on the 21st around 4:50. Before they closed. Notified me that apparently the door was more damaged and that it would cost me more. I said no, that i wouldn’t want it done. They resembled my door and charged me for labor which i didn’t care for. Straight to the point, My motor was knocking. I was informed by this from an honest mechanic, Yes it is on me at the end of the day, but i seriously would’ve respected the fact that these mechanics at precision auto would’ve informed me about this before dropping money on a car that would need a new motor soon. They messed up my door, and put tape on it. Took in to get work on the door, and they broke it even more. Put some tape over it. Overall a bad experience with these guys, Paid for the vehicle to get some repairs that were needed, just to be informed by an honest mechanic that the car would need a new motor. When i asked what that noise was which was thumbing in the motor, they replied “I don’t know”. Never going to give these guys my trust again.
I paid $770 total, because when i asked for the door and why there was tape, they gave me a $20 discount. For messing up my door, That’s seriously ridiculous. I only found out it was messed up from moving the piece that adjusted the side mirrors. Along with it i called them early morning on the 22nd being today, and left voicemails. They Called me and informed me, that they would deal with it when i bring over the car, and that they would dig into the car more because they did not know what was wrong with it. When i asked before paying what that noise was, they said i don’t know. “that i would need new tires, or that its a transmission mount”. Are you serious? Never again.

Called and asked how much to replace a part on a car. They stated they don’t give prices, they need $40 to look at it first to determine what they think it is. Lmaooo what a joke. This is what makes car mechanics look bad.
