“A couple weeks ago Felix started coughing excessively so off to the vet we went. Today I took him for a followup appointment for inflamed tonsils and trachea. He's all cleared up. He does have congestive heart failure and has been on medication for a few years. Tom noticed Felix's heart and liver are larger than normal. He showed me the X-ray and told me he wanted the weekend to research and determine the best course of action and would call me early next week. Hopefully just a medication adjustment. I was so happy he cared so much about Felix to make sure he gets it right. I have been a client of Hufnagel veterinary clinic in Zelienople for decades. They have been with me through so much! “This hospital for me is more than a house, in this hospital I have been attending to my pets since I arrived in Cranberry. I had been given one of the hardest moments when I said goodbye to my 16-year-old baby hairy, and in this place I felt an indescribable peace, I felt supported and loved at this hard time when the world seems to be falling apart. They were very human at this tough time and with the rest of my pets I have always felt the same care. I just love and recommend this place.”

“Thankful that they offer urgent care services on Sundays with appointment time slots with it being the weekend and difficult to get him in during the work week. Our dog started to have pain from an ear infection last night. They got us in before our appointment and all the staff was great. We appreciate Dr. Moreno and the staff for being there to help us. Brutus is always nervous at the vet and they were so kind and understanding. We got his ear tested and meds given during that visit. Highly recommend!”

“We have brought all 4 of our dogs to Green Valley over the years, since before we married in 1994. Everyone there has always been so supportive, compassionate & positive, not only toward us, but - most importantly - toward our furries! Yesterday, we had to make the difficult & heart wrenching decision, as pet owners, to send our good boy, Arley B, over the Rainbow Bridge. He went there last evening, & we know he's playing right now with our other 3 boys & his human grandparents. Stephanie, Kellie, Kate & Dr. McElhinny helped him get there with the least amount of anxiety & fear as quickly as possible with no pain. They gave me the option of being with him the entire time, & after they inserted his IV, I was there with him until & after his passing. I even stayed with him alone for quite some time afterward, & I closed his eyes. They never rushed me out. We already miss him terribly; however, we know it was his time to move on. He was a little over 13 years old, & he lived the 2nd longest of our dogs. Over his life with us, & prior to that, we have received excellent care for our dogs, as well as for us as pet owners, from these wonderful professionals, who are also not afraid to give a hug of support as friends of our pet family members! Thank you Dr. McElhinny, Dr, Lawson, Stephanie, Kellie, Renee, Kate & those of you, whom I may not know by name, who also loved & cared for our dogs. “We’ve been seeing Dr. Maro at Cranberry Holistic Pet Hospital for about two years, and I’m incredibly grateful for the care she has given my dog.

I originally switched from a traditional veterinary practice because I wanted a more holistic approach that focuses on overall wellness and natural treatments whenever possible. That philosophy aligns with how I live, and Dr. Maro truly takes the time to look at the whole picture rather than just treating symptoms.

During a routine visit, she asked how long my dog had a lump in his neck. I was surprised because I massage him regularly and hadn’t noticed anything. We monitored it closely and tried conservative treatments, but when it didn’t improve, she recommended surgery.

What we discovered was shocking. The tumor was tucked into a very tricky area and ended up being the size of a small lemon. Dr. Maro did an excellent job removing it. If she hadn’t been so thorough and in tune with him, it likely would not have been found until it was too late. I’m forever grateful for her attentiveness and skill.

The entire team at the practice is just as wonderful. Everyone is caring, kind, and truly loves the animals they work with. My pup gets excited when he sees Starrsha, and Connie and the rest of the techs and staff are always warm, patient, and compassionate. I can’t say enough good things about the people there. I wouldn’t have stayed with this practice for as long as I have if the doctor or the staff weren’t exceptional.
