Belco pushes mobile banking/deposits but I will NEVER attempt to mobile deposit a check ever again with Belco as it has been 3 DAYS AND MY CHECK DEPOSIT IS STILL PENDING. Do better. I need my money.

I'm a current Belco member and was looking to refinance my high interest 14.9 auto loan. After 2 days the underwritter was only able to approved a rating of 12.9. I was shock and mad because Capital One had already approved me for 6.89. My thinking was that Belco being a member for over 15 years would had offer me less or equal but that wasn't the case. I recommend going with Capital One if you already have a confirm offer that is appealing and stay away from Belco. I gave them two stars just because I'm still a member but that may change.

New location sucks. No more tellers. Just machines. That can be hacked. That aren't always wiped down but customers have to touch the screen to enter their account info. They aren't paying me to do the job of a teller, but they want me to do the work of being a teller for them. I don't think so. Will be moving my accounts. Also, I'd like to point out that starting out as at teller has traditionally been the way women and minorities get into banking when young. They learn the job and are able to work their way up. Now, how will they even be able to get their foot in the door when competing for any other banking/credit union/finance job? Other than this, I LOVED Belco. Have been driving to the Einsenhower Blvd. location, but it is out of my way and not easy to get to. Getting rid of humans was a big mistake on Belco's part.

If I could rate zero stars I would. I bought my first car and got a loan through Belco. I have had nothing but a headache ever since. I got my car and am still under my parents insurance, that being said my mom had bought a years worth of insurance coverage. A few months after getting my car they claim I didn't have insurance for 3 months. I've had the insurance company fax them information more than a handful of times, as well as myself faxing information. They then claim they received info and the next month they need it again. Recently someone showed up to my house to repossess my car that I have been making monthly payments on since receiving the car and have insurance coverage for a year. I then am told by the bank I owe them $1,100 dollars for 3 months worth of insurance. I have documented proof from not only my insurance company but also my monthly bank statement showing they take out my car payment monthly. I've been trying to resolve this but their communication is non existent. The customer service is HORRIBLE, nothing but rude. They have NO IDEA what is going on in their own offices. They DO NOT communicate. If you're looking at getting a car DO NOT USE BELCO. I promise you it will be nothing but a mistake.

Make sure you atleast have a free 40 minutes because you will be waiting. I've been sitting in the drive thru for 30 minutes with one car infront of me.

Drive through employees are as slow as Molasses. In the past 4 months my wait time has been consistently over 20 mins each time. There no reason it should take this long every single visit.

We love Belco! We have been members for many years and we think that their kids programs to encourage kids to start saving are so helpful and motivating. Our kids have become great savers because of these incentives. Belco also does a lot of things for the community and holds skating parties and Easter egg hunts that our children love. Our children also love that they receive a postcard with a five dollar award for their birthday. It always makes them feel special. it is great to see one certain credit unions go out of their way to really bless their customers. Their customer service is great and we really appreciate Laura Kennedy, the branch manager who went out of her way to help our family with an account problem we encountered.

Have been an account holder for over a decade. I called to get an increase to my debit card limit before I drove to my daUghters school to pay her tuition. Customer service rep told me to wait thirty minutes to allow process time and then I was good to go. Three hours later, I'm standing in the financial office on the phone who with BELCO customer service because the transaction declined. They "don't know" what happened & can't do anything to help at this time. But can process another request an/or have a customer specialist call me back when available. No thanks. I'll take all of my accounts to a credit union thhat understands the concepts of customer service and follow through.

I financed my Harley with Belco. replacing it with an indian and taking the loss and Belco has the lowest rate around. Digitally signed the docs, emailed in the backup paperwork and have a check in hand the next day. When you complain to the branch, they make changes. Not necessarily immediately but they do make changes.

Belco doesn't service drive through atm so won't fix a torn 20$ bill I got at their atm. Now I'm in North Carolina and nobody will take the I'll the drive through lady told me was still good. She is wrong and I consider this theft. I demand you people fix this or I will continue refreshing this same rating over and over again so it peppers your reviews. Liars AND thieves.

Great local credit union. I've been a member my entire life and haven't had any issues. The electronic system is very helpful so I don't regularly make it to the branch now but when I do the team is always quick and thorough. Like any bank, the hours can be a bit tough to make it in but that's industry-wide

This credit union has gone downhill over the past few years. Online loan application is convenient & fast and they have good interest rates for car loans & visas. I have excellent credit so that could have something to do with that. My issue is with customer service. Recently they employed a 3rd party service answering phones & they know nothing!!! There have been 2 occasions where I have been given the incorrect info by not one rep but two, one was a supervisor, in the same phone call. I was quoted 2.9% for a balance transfer & they said they could either cut a check to the credit card co. or just put it in my checking & I could pay it off from there. I said yeah let's do that, more convenient. However, I noticed I have been getting charged 10.49% as they considered that a cash advance!!! When I called to talk to someone, I got the run around. They were not rude until I pointed out the rate on my loan declaration. Was put on hold for a while till she came back & pointed out some clause that negates any mistakes on their end. WTF?!? I even proved to them that the payment went to my other credit card & asked in what world would I choose to pay off a 9.9% card with a 10.49% card w/interest compounded daily?!? She didnt care. Above all, what is going to happen to the one employee & her supervisor who confirmed the 2.49% rate & offered the transfer into my checking? Worst part is, they admitted to telling me the wrong info & putting the wrong int. rate down but are unwilling to fix it. They gave me a $20 credit that does not even cover the amount of interest that has accrued in one month. Remember, the way they did it, interest compounds DAILY. This afternoon I my husband was kind enough to pay off both my remaining car balance 4k & my $2,300 visa balance. He went to the Allentown Blvd. branch & closed his account & as soon as I can get my direct deposit transferred over to a new bank, Belco will have lost me as a customer as well.

their customer service is the worst when call the call center. no one knows what their talking about spent over and God forbid if you get one of their agents that handle their overflow calls/outsourced calls - they have no knowledge of anything and have to send an email to request me to receive a form to dispute a transaction. i've been waiting for over 24 hours for his form to stop pay and dispute for a fraudulent charge. I have a business and personal account which I am about to take my business elsewhere BELCO SUCKS!
