Genuinely the worst bank in the world

Upon being notified our accounts were being changed over to FNB, we were promised the service was going to be better than before. That has not been the case. We still have yet to receive our new FNB Debit Cards, there are service fees being charged on our account that we were not made aware of and their hourse are totally inconvenient. The reason we chose Metro Bank in the first place was due to their convenient hours, and now these bank hours are worse than any bank I've ever dealt with before.

Hands down the worst bank ever. They took something great and turned it into trash. Wish zero stars was a rating, that's what they deserve. I've been with this franchise since it was Commerce bank ( which was one of the best banks I've ever been a part of) but I will be closing my account very abruptly, it's a shame.Everything got worse, the hours, customer service, all of it. The people in charge of this Bank should be completely embarrassed with themselves and what they did with the name. And quite honestly, you're tellers are idiots.

If I could give this bank zero stars I would. I had sold something recently and the person gave me a fraudulent check. The tellers cashed it and then when it came back as fraudulent customer service tried to tell ME that I should've known it was a bad check. Isn't that the tellers job to check that stuff? I just checked the common things that it says to look for on the back of the check. So then my fiance gave me a check to deposit to cover the over draft and they refused his check and shut down my account. This all happened while on vacation and customer service pretty much said I was on my own. I still haven't been able to access my online account despite numerous calls to the branch. They keep telling me that their security department will call me and they never do. It's utter nonsense.

1st national Bank is horrible, they charged me $2.95 for statements when I request estatement. The point is this happened 2x and it made my account over draw by $2.83 since I didn't have funds in the account, so they charged $37 plus $12 every 3 days. By the time I was aware of it, they change me over $62. I spoke with more than 7 people to have it resolved, but they were all rude, and blamed me for the problem. I finally spoke with a branch manager and she was the only one nice to reverse the charges both times. Then I closed my account.

Metro bank was way better! The hours are impossible for people that actually have a job. I will be switching banks immediately!! Absolutely terrible!

Fortunately most of the staff is still at the 2nd St branch from Metro Bank, but in general FNB pales in comparison to Metro Bank! FNB is only open 5 days a week and shorter hours as well. Their customer service has suffered immensely, it is far more corporate, less friendly, and feels as if we're all just a number with money for them. Quite sad and disappointing! I still have yet to get my new ATM card as well. METRO=5 ☆☆☆☆☆ FNB=☆

Metro bank was 1000 times better especially for people who work 2 jobs. I can never make deposits because they're not open when I am off. Sunday used to be when I could deposit money. They deserve zero stars

They are the worst bank around. They took a great bank and turned it into a horrible bank. It took 6 weeks to close my account. I Valley to close the account, the CSR said he was closing it. I checked my other account online 3 week later and they did not close my other account they left it open and it went negative Balance due to their excessive charges. Then they wanted me to pay those charges I shouldn't have had to begin with. Then they closed the account after racking up over 100 dollars in charges and took the money from my joint account. Nothing but thieves. I reported the to the PA Banking Commission. And filed a complaint with them.
