Harbor Freight is the same everywhere. I went in to buy a gift card. Got to the register and immediately was asked for my phone number. NO !!!! There is absolutely NO reason to have my phone number in order to make a purchase !!!! I do NOT want to set up a profile. Just let me buy my item and get on with my day!!! You don't need our personal information!!!! STOP DOING THIS !!!

Hands down the South Got the North when it comes to Harbor Freight. Nice store but nothing Iike the ones I've been too. From employee attitudes, to the items in the store felt like 1977.

I love this store. Good stuff cheap. They offer a large variety of hand and power tools and all types of equipment. I've tried many different tools from drill bits to sand blasting equipment to hand trucks. I was satisfied with everything. My favorite so far is the Portland Pole Saw. I have two of them. When l loaned it to my dad to trim a hedge that had gotten too high, he liked it so much that he bought one for himself. I've cut off some sizeable limbs with no problem. It has low kickback which makes it easy to handle and use. Friends have made fun of it when they see it but once they try it, they can't believe how well it works.

Order an item that was out of stock in the store from HF online. Once item was received from FedEx it was opened and missing hardware. Took it to the store and they exchanged with no problem.

They have an excellent return policy and were very courteous when I had a problem.
In fact, the staff at this and the West Shore store are always very helpful.
The Harrisburg store makes it very hard to buy tools, as everything is locked up. I know it's not the store's fault, but it makes getting things hard for the law-abiding

Decent selection of tools at a good price. Some junky stuff but many items are good quality.
