I own a local repair and towing center. We in the past had recommended Hoffman ford quit frequently for repair service on newer ford's we also tow multiple vehicles to them on a monthly basis. Leaving a poor review is my last resort. We entrusted them with one of our newer rollbacks that needed frame work we were told roughly 4 weeks. After 3 months and constant calling for false status updates we finally went to see the truck in person only to find that it is in no way re assembled. What's worse is we were told it would have a new Frame installed that was not done either. Now we are still down a truck down money for both payments and lost income and what's more they keep giving false updates.

DO NOT USE THEIR AUTO BODY SHOP! Hoffman has had my vehicle for almost a month and a half and they have been everything but reliable. Instead of diagnosing all the issues after my accident to order all the necessary parts so the customer is not stuck waiting for week after week to get their vehicle back they only ordered to start what they could see at a glance instead of investigating. I've been told on almost a weekly basis I'd be getting my car back and then they need to order more parts again. How do you not make sure you have all the parts you needed. Last week it was painting and ordering more parts and again this week was told I'd have it back by Thursday at the latest and once again they are ordering parts. They continue to keep dragging this out week by week every week a promise to have my vehicle back and every week they have to order more parts. They have no sense of urgency for their customers. This has been nothing but a game to them and a complete inconvenience to me. They have done nothing but try to blame it on my insurance agency but my insurance has been nothing but prompt and reliable they choose to take no responsibility for their inability to provide better service and place blame elsewhere. I will never use their body shop ever again and will definitely never give them the opportunity to sell me a vehicle. They lack consideration and reliability for the customer and I will never entrust them with my business ever again and they can forget any type of recommendation to others. Get your shit together Hoffman there's no reason anyone should have to deal with the BS I've had to with your body shop and it's frankly pathetic customers service.

If we could give this place zero stars we would. We special ordered a 2023 Ford-350 Lariat approximately 1 year ago and where so excited when it finally came in. Unfortunately we where quoted a trade in value of only $44,000 for our F250 that was in excellent condition with low mileage and was worth closer to $60,000 on Kelly Blue book and at other dealer websites, etc... We did our homework and no way where we taking that kind of hit.To add insult to injury Hoffman Ford promptly listed our special ordered truck on their website with an inflated price tag of well over $82,000 when we where only supposed to pay in the neighborhood of $75,000... they where marking up the price to make money off the next person. This place obviously only cares about making a profit and does not have loyalty to their customers what so ever!!We tried for several weeks and left numerous messages for our salesman Mason but never heard a thing... all we wanted was our deposit money back and to never deal with this place again.Finally some very unpleasant gentleman named Dave called back today and further solidified our choice to NEVER do business at Hoffman Ford again !!!It is a shame that in today's world the only thing that businesses care about is ripping off their customers !Please... Terrible communication from service department over multiple weeks. Staff admitted to errors and said they would take care of $100 service fee. Just got the $100 bill. Do not take your car here or trust their word.

I was traveling with my Ford F350 and a fifth wheel trailer when the truck broke down. I was coming from SC to CT when this happened. I contacted Hoffman Ford and they put me in touch with Ryan in Truck Service. He assisted me in getting my truck fixed and was able to get my camper plugged in so I did not lose all our food. He quickly got the truck in the next day and was able to diagnose and order parts for me. Ryan and the service department worked diligently to get the truck fixed in a short amount of time. I was able to take a rental back down there and they picked me up so I could get the truck and camper. Awesome service and attitude in getting it done…thank you!

I want to first say how GREAT this dealership is and how AWESOME the people are. Thank you Jarrin Black for being so professional and keeping me in the loop about my car the entire short time it was at your dealership. I bought my car in CT and moved to PA not that long ago. So this dealership has never had me as a customer before. Ryan in service from Hoffman Ford told me it was fine to have my car towed to them on 6/11/23 (Sunday) There was an issue with the TMC. Long story short, they repaired my car and I was called on 6/13/23 at 10 a.m. to say it was all set to pick up. They also did a vehicle check up on my car--no charge. I could not believe it!! So quick and to do that for someone who has never been there before was so great! I had an extended warranty and because of this, I walked out of there paying 0 dollars. I am so grateful. They also repaired the recall on the door latches for my vehicle. I highly recommend Hoffman Ford for their outstanding service department and outstanding customer service. I recently scheduled a “Quick Lube” and “Works “appointment with Hoffman Ford. The service advisor Jarrin Black was great! He was super efficient from check in to the free car wash! Great experience working with my service advisor, Jarrin this week. Had a service bulletin come out on my transmission that needed attention and he quickly arranged an appointment within days and had it all fixed and resolved as promised. Hoffman Ford gets an A+ for customer service! I called with what I believed to be an expensive transmission issue for my daughter's Focus and they had her repaired and out the door in two days AND got it covered by Ford. Jarrin was awesome and made sure that my daughter was back in her car in time for her summer classes. Thank you, Jarrin and Thank you, Hoffman Ford for being so dedicated to your customers. Also, as I was taking my 21 year old daughter through the dealership and showing her the process of paying and picking up she commented that she will likely return when she is ready to buy her car because the atmosphere was so friendly and relaxing.Services: Transmission repair

There comes a time when a business can step up and help a customer in need in a unique situation, and unfortunately Hoffman failed miserably to help to take care of a previous customer. My father purchased a new car many years ago from Hoffman that he kept in storage and never drove - didn't really find out until his death, and all of his important paperwork was destroyed in a fire. So we had no paperwork, no title, no registration - nothing for this car. We eventually were able to find the dealership he purchased it from - Hoffman Ford in Harrisburg. Upon my mother's original call to Hoffman, she was told that since the car was purchased more than 7 years ago, they have no record of the purchase and can't help her. I stepped in to help, and through social media was able to find someone very helpful at corporate Ford. They were able to see the purchase of the car from Hoffman, and seemed sincerely like they wanted to help. After some time of this person doing research, they had an answer. They said the dealership can request a replacement SMO from Ford, and Ford will send that to them and with that document they can sign over the vehicle and that document can then be used to tag and title the car. So I called Hoffman and ended up speaking to a sales manager, Dave Smith. I talked to him about the situation, he took my information sort of begrudgingly, and said he would call me later in the week. I never heard back from him, and called and left messages. I then talked to another manager at Hoffman, who said Dave would be working the next morning and would make sure he gave me a call by 9:30. Of course, no call. Eventually after many calls I was able to get Mr. Smith on the phone. He said he couldn't do anything. I asked why they can't request the SMO from Ford like the person at Ford said, and he said that when they looked up the vehicle they saw it was sold to my father's company and they would need proof that he was with that company (he was the sole owner), and I said no problem, I have all that information. Then Mr. Smith said that it would be too much work. The person at Ford said it's a 5 minute process. Mr. Smith seemed to take zero interest in helping out in this unique and melancholy situation. I offered to pay for the time, or any expenses in doing this. He said he can't help me any further, and even went to suggest using a lawyer. All this because he, or someone else there, doesn't want to spend 5 minutes to try and help in this situation. As a business owner myself, this kind of attitude and unwillingness to go a bit extra to help out a previous customer is beyond frustrating and incredibly disappointing and hurtful to my mother who is trying to work through getting the estate taken care of, and that can't be done until this vehicle situation is sorted. So - thank you Hoffman for making an already incredibly difficult time even worse because you won't lift a finger and spend 5 minutes to help out a previous customer.

Jarrin Black is a great Service Consultant
