Conveniently located, with access from Market St. And from inside Strawberry Square. Self checkout is a plus. The selection is not as much. Most shelves have barely anything. Maybe they are changing stuff up. It was a fast-paced atmosphere, and I had zero human contact, which could be a positive or a negative, depending on your point of view. They have cold grocery items, and that's fully stocked. Overall, it was a positive experience. It's in a great location!

they never answer the phone. I was on hold for 30 min. I called the front and they told me there was no one even back there and that they had just finished a line so they should answer. they said they’ll page them. 30 min no answer. called back this time on the doctors office line and they finally answered only to tell me to hold, not only that but she was so rude about it too. I literally was calling for what would take them 30 seconds, 1 minute max to answer. never ever had an experience like this with a pharmacy. so gross.

The stores management team leaves a lot to be desired. Absolute trash.

For Rite Aid to be in downtown Harrisburg PA, this location needs to revisit its purpose. The floors are really filthy! This isn’t new. And the prices are inflated without justification. Fortunately there is STAFF who are effective and professional. Take care of you properly!

The actual pharmacy seems to run on their own made up hours and never pick up their phone. I can never actually get my prescriptions filled here. I almost always have to get them transferred elsewhere. It seems to be this way for quite a few people. I seriously don’t know how they stay in business.

This Rite Aid is the worst of all the ones I have visited. I had an emergency today and went in to purchase an item that cost me triple the price. I had no choice but to pay it bc I needed the item. Then when I asked for them to tripple bag it bc I had to walk with the item downtown the male clerk had an issue with giving an extra bag. After I paid so much money for it. Everything in the store is over priced and it serves most customers either on budgets, ow income.or students. Sad thing is that the manager/supervisor was next to the clerk and allowed this.

Just saw a group of 5 teens leave with numerous items not rung up, and I can't blame them! No help. The front of the store had 1 of 2 self checkouts working and no employees. I laid my items down and left because a couple were on sale, and I knew there would be an issue with sales price and no one to correct it. BIG FAIL.

I very much dislike this place.1. No one ever answer the phone2. Hours on the recording says from 7am to 8pm. False they open up at 83. No weekend hours?4. Located downtown so you have to pay to park. And the parking officers on standby, they watch heavy and are quick to give a ticket5. No workers you will stand in line over 30 minutesI am beyond furious. I can’t even get meds over a week now my work hours are the same my lunch is the same. I attempted just now on my 15 minute break which I am not even supposed to leave. Paid to park and the line was near the front of the store. It seem this place is only used for the mental illness and the disability people that live across the street

Rite aid is good because it's close and fairly convenient. It's bad because of the high prices on retail items. I've used the pharmacy a couple times for vaccines and only buy an occasional birthday card on the retail side. The store is clean, well stocked and usually not too busy but can get hectic when the lines are long. If you need it, its here, but don't go out of your way to downtown because parking can be a hassle.

The pharmacy here is the worst Ive ever been too. I consistently have issues getting my medication and the pharmacist is always incredibly rude and unhelpful. She has put my unborn son at risk 3 different times, including today when they said I could not get my medication until after 3 because of an "audit" If I dont take this medication, i could have a miscarriage. And they just DO NOT CARE. I dont know the pharmacist name. But she needs fired. Getting my prescriptions sent to another pharmacy TODAY.

These people never answer the phone, so good luck getting through to them without having to go there first and come back

The pharmacist Mardi Itchy has to be the worst professional I have come across in a long time. Instead of looking at the current address and phone information from the transferring pharmacy, she decided to use 20 year old information that was in the Rite Aid computer. It took weeks to get my prescription transferred, because according to the pharmacist, the fax machine was broke, they were short staffed, and they too busy. Either no one answered the phone at all or when someone did, they would place you on hold and never return to the call. Consequently, due to Rite Aid #721 on Market Street and the pharmacist Mardi Itchy unprofessional behavior I couldn't get my prescriptions filled on-time and correctly until today, August 23, 2022. My prescriptions were transferred in July. Their on-line system works well, if the pharmacist does their job correctly and if you have all the information you need; which you don't receive until they fill the prescriptions. This pharmacist's ignorance and lack of empathy toward customers and patients is unacceptable. Further, my husband had issues with that store, which took them 9 months to correct. He is a stroke survivor and needs 5 medications filled on-time every month. I did everything humanly and electronically possible to get the situation corrected. The same pharmacist, Mardi Itchy was just as careless, ignorant and cold. I would call as soon as the pharmacy would open and she was already miserable. She'll give you every excuse in the book NOT to give you proper service and get you to feel sorry for her. Rite Aid's internal problems are not something she should throw in a customer's face when she isn't doing your job correctly, can't handle the store's volume and doesn't have the skill set to talk to people with kindness. Rite Aid is making millions of dollars and paying their pharmacists extremely well to act like and perform like professionals, when they are in their stores. If the pharamcist thinks she is too good to deal directly with a customer, which she put in a situation, answer the phone professionally and handle a situation from beginning to end this pharmacy is doomed. Rite Aid should put her out in a very slow community somewhere, where she doesn't have to deal with what she obviously has no skills to handle.
