I usually have really good experienced with SpringHill Suites but this location really underwhelmed me.
It wasn't overly bad, but it wasn't overly good.
Pros: Decent breakfast, plenty of parking, small welcome gift for Bonvoy members.
Cons: Located near very few shops/restaurants, front desk staff was less than friendly, our room had several broken items including lights that wouldn't work and a sliding bathroom door that got stuck, trapping us in the bathroom for awhile.
Overall, it was a place to sleep right off of I-81 and that's about all I can recommend it for. Unless this is your only option, stay somewhere else.

A great hotel. Have stayed numerous times for conferences nearby. Easy access, pleasant staff, great accomodations. Last time there, I forgot my tablet, the staff secured it and manager Scott Rothrock mailed it back to me. I thought that was very nice.
Rooms: Clean, well laid out

When we arrived light switch didn't work I had to manually turn on any external lamps in the room when u take a shower water will leak out of doors, remote for TV hardly work. Then icing on the cake housekeeping only redid the bed and put towels. Didn't wipe down any spaces at all or vacuumed or even fix sofa. When I called front desk to complain I got a rude demeanor that housekeeping isn't here so what do you want me to do. Breakfast is average with that fake egg mixture and waffles with oatmeal and some bagels. Never returning here

Definitely not too far from Hersheypark. Check in was quick. What I liked seeing was "Quiet Hours". That's something I feel like more hotels should have. We had the King suite which was pretty nice and spacious. Unsure what the stain on the wall was, but we decided to ignore it and not think about it. The little decoration on the toilet paper is fun to see. The shower left us a scratching our heads. The doors do not fully close, so water comes out. Seems like this is the case for the room upstairs as well, as water stains can be seen on the ceiling. Breakfast was decent, definitely great for when we're on the go. Definitely would stay here again.

This is the place to stay! The neighboring hotel has roaches, but here, the suites are clean and updated for a cozy overnight stay. The front desk staff went above and beyond and were incredibly friendly. Overall, a great experience!

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL UNLESS YOU PARTY ALL NIGHT!! We stayed 4 nights (2 week night and 2 weekend). It’s loud ALL THE TIME. They say quiet hours are 10 PM - 6 AM, but this is not anywhere near enforced. People running the hallways at all hours until 4 am. ALSO I called the front desk and quiet hours “don’t count for people cutting up and blaring music at the fire pit outside downstairs”. They only count hallways.” But the people running all night are so loud.. so I don’t think it counts hallways either obviously.. My family has never had sound issues at a SpringHill Suites, and we’ve stayed at A LOT because we are a Bonvoy Boundless Card holder and a family of 5.
Also let me add, we brought our own sound machine and we still hear EVERYTHING so you know it’s loud.

Pros: nice and spacious rooms, comfortable beds, two sinks, excellent staff, west elm couch/trundle bed, nice to have electronic way to tip staff, free breakfast
Cons: breakfast is a zoo because it’s in a tiny area, there will be a line for waffles so be patient (there are 2 waffle makers and each waffle takes 2.5 minutes), poor shower door design. The $3 parking fee is tacky
Noteworthy details: Tacky $3 parking fee

Not overly impressed. Killed 2 dime sized spiders in the room. Sheets and floors felt sticky. Pool water was very cold. Breakfast was not very good.

The front desk staff was very happy and friendly. They offered us cupcakes and other snacks when we walked into the hotel.
Rooms: Very nice rooms and spacious. The rooms have microwaves and mini refrigerators. They have a work area in each room. There are reading lights on the bed. Very nice and big bathrooms.
Nearby activities: The mall is across the street, and restaurants are all around the hotel in walking distance.
Walkability: There are restaurants and malls across the street in walking distance.
Food and drinks: There is a mini store in the lobby for drinks and snacks.

Incredible customer service and accommodations! We felt right at home and Scott the GM was very helpful and hospitable to us. Can’t recommend this hotel enough! Thank you!

It seemed that person who are visiting Hersey Park found this hotel ideally situated. This hotel was convenient for our travel. It was not far from the highway and located in an area with other hotels. It has breakfast in the morning (which closes earlier than you think, at 9 am) and a bar with some food items like chicken nuggets that is open in the evening.
There are no water fountains outside of the gym. The coffee and tea station doesn’t get refilled all day, so it’s a maybe that there is coffee available after 9. There are no cozy treats here.
Workspace is generally limited to main eating area. There are a few chairs and a table on each floor, but the a/c was not functioning in the hallways.
There is a quiet time policy for the hotel.
The room was pleasant! I actually really liked the room for our family of 5. We were in an accessible room, and the bathroom was broken into two room. Two sinks, but one toilet and one shower.
My kids liked the hotel.

Very nice, clean, and super convenient location especially if you are traveling on 81. We stayed here over night to break a long road trip and were very pleased with everything. Highly recommend this hotel!

We spent one night at the SpringHill Suites in Harrisburg while driving from NC to MA. The room was very spacious and clean. The service at the front desk was excellent. The breakfast the following morning was well done, with eggs, sausage, yogurt, and coffee to get us quickly on our way. We will stay there next year when we take the trip again.

We just spent the weekend while attending a basketball tournament at the farm complex. We had a very good experience, right from check in. Ben was very helpful. He was able to get us in for an early check-in, gave us some good recommendations for around the area overall very helpful. The rooms were perfect for our family. Small fridge(no freezer) and microwave. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was good, waffles, eggs with some breakfast meat, oatmeal, cereal bagels, yogurt. Something for everyone. Coming back at night, Mike the bartender was awesome!!!! So many laughs, drink concoctions, just a good time. The only negative is that the pool is very small for the amount of guests and there was nothing else for kids to do on-site
