“Chantal, the owner, is super kind, and has the best quality soaps, shea butters, oils, and African clothing in the area. She's doing pop-up shops every Saturday for the month of February 2024. So maybe she'll be closer to you one of these Saturdays. Feb 3 she said her pop-up is at the Capital City Mall.”

“I was just travelling through, on my way back to Montreal, when I discovered this store. What a find! I wish I had more time to look around because just at a quick glance I saw so many nice things.
Fortunately, I was helped by a lovely staff member who helped me find sizes and try things on quickly - and I managed to purchase a few items. I love the quality and style of them and I can't wait to visit the store again on my next trip down to the US!

“I like shopping at the rainbow store uptown bcuz they play music I can relate to it's soothing to shop with familiar songs playing out loud, but the rainbow on the hill plays Puerto Rican music loud and it's disturbing, bcuz for one we are not in Puerto Rica we are in Harrisburg Pennsylvania and majority of women who shop rainbow in Harrisburg are black, so if u want our money you will have to accommodate us, we won't have it any other way, that's why I don't see ppl goin in and out of the rainbow on the hill like u do the rainbow uptown, plus Harrisburg is predominantly black and imma hillgurl so I need my beats that I can relate to while I'm spending my money, ( I spend more when I think your accommodating me) AND I LUV TO SHOP!!”

They only had one pair of the skinny jeans that I wanted so he ordered me 3 more pairs online to ship directly to my home. He told me all the perks of being card member with Old Navy and I decided to sign up. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE with Trevor, thank you for making it so easy!”
“Staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Also, while I was trying on jeans in the changing room, they searched through their extensive inventory to find more in my size and style to try on. I walked out with 3 pairs of the best jeans I’ve owned.”
“They have the most effective staff and the checkout process takes about 3 minutes. The store needs to improve its inventory as the search for seasonal items were not on display so the options that I were looking for due to it being on the inside of the racks instead of out front. These common problems I found at the Rehoboth Beach location. I still have no regrets shopping there and plan to return”
“They have a variety of products, prices and discounts all the time, due to the season there is no price checker and sometimes there is no associate in sight to ask for help, depending on the season or day you visit, the wait to pay for the products will vary. Recommended.”
“Beautiful clothes from petite to women's. Check online to know when they have sales. If you order online they take returns. Awesomely FRIENDLY staff, helpful and knowledgeable. If they don't know the answer off the top of your head they'll get it for you in a minute or 2. Love this store!”
“Gabe's has a good selection of low priced items, simple as that. I was a big fan of the Tom and Jerry merchandise they had in stock. There are two reasons why my review is not 5 stars:
1. The overhead signs at this location are misleading. There were no electronics in the electronics section, but rather clothing and gift items. I had to look around the store for a while to find what I wanted
2. Some of the products used AI generated artwork and imagery, which looked cheap and tacky.”

“I love going to this store.There's a lot of different and diverse items and food choices than any other store. Pricing is cheep on most items which amount for a lot. The employees are very very kind and quick.”

“They must have made some improvements, because I've had great experiences every time since my first visit two years ago. Nothing close to what the previous reviews indicate. There's a nice variety of quality merchandise, too. Online order returns are easy here as well, but I recommend starting the process on the website and bringing the printed confirmation. It goes faster that way.”
“Everything was great however, I was unable to purchase the coat I wanted here.
I found a coat for 97 dollars, but Kohl's had it at 62. I saw online they price match in store and online prices from competitors. So I showed them the Kohl's price at the register. Another employee was consulted on how to price match, and they said "we only do that for online orders".
Because there was a long line, I didn't want to hold them up and I put the item back and bought it from Kohl's. I was hoping to get it in person at JCPenney.”

“This is a very large Ross's. It's similar to the Settler's Ridge Ross's in Allegheny County PA. Weekdays are the best time to shop. The selection is good & it's less crowded during the day. Weekends are Ok if you are up to the "challenge" of lots of shoppers & jammed shopping aisles. This store puts out a lot of merchandise every day. That's good. Most weekends you'll find abandoned merchandise dropped just about any where. Not so good if it's on the floor. Again, I really prefer shopping at Ross's on weekdays. I noticed they seem to put out a lot of new arrivals/merchandise on weekends. So once a month, I'll go there on a weekend to shop. If I'm shopping for a present or the Holidays it's definately worth going on Saturday or Sunday. I think this Ross's is under staffed. That's why some nights it looks like a mess. Most of the Cashier's are pleasant & try to get you rung up quickly.”
