If you're reading this, you don't need to look for another moving and packing company: Full stop. We recently used Dan the Mover to handle our home packing and move, and we couldn't have been happier. Not only were Dan and his wife easy to work with and an absolute pleasure, they got down to business packing day and the day of moving. We planned out the logistics of unloading and loading the truck to accommodate my double settlement, and they quickly put my mind at ease with making sure we were taken care of. There were no hidden fees, and they provide a flat fee right up front. The crew was also super fun to work with as well, and they made the whole process light-hearted as well. We cannot thank Dan the Mover enough and please highly consider them for your next move.

If we could give ten stars, we would! After reading the reviews, we didn’t even call any other firm. When I called and connected with Dans wife, Alice, she was very reassuring. Dan came out, gave us an estimate, and explained everything.
Day of move , a team of enthusiastic energetic and very careful guys showed up in time and had us moved over to the next township in less than 3 hours. Not one item was damaged. Every guy seemed to love what they were doing. Lee, the foreman made sure the entire loading and unloading process was well coordinated. We are very happy!

From start to finish Dan the Mover delivered. He was prompt in getting back to us when we contacted him initially. We were moving things from one house to two (one local, one regionally) and he laid out the plan and the cost. Dan and his crew showed up on time and had the house empty in 3 1/2 hours. The local delivery was made that day and the other the next morning. The crew was great. They were very careful, respectful, and incredibly efficient. I highly recommend Dan for local as well as distant moves. His pricing was fair with no hidden costs and he takes great pride in making sure your things are delivered the way they were picked up. Thanks Dan. I hope to never move again but if I do I’ll be sure to call.

My wife and I loved working with Dan, his wife, and the crew moving from our first home to second home. Quite the job, but they got it done in under 8 hours total on back to back days (with great pricing on overnight storage)! Excellent experience—hope we aren’t moving for a long time but I’d recommend them to anyone in the area.

Competitively priced and transparent. No hidden costs or fees, great communication and smooth process. They worked with my schedule to get an appointment that worked for me. They showed up on time, acted professionally, moved everything efficiently and carefully. Did a walkthrough to make sure nothing was left behind, and then again at the destination to ensure everything was placed where i wanted it. Highly recommend.

We used Dan the Mover for moving from a townhouse to single family home. The entire process was seamless from getting a quote through set up of our furniture in our new home. It's clear that Dan has a lot of experience and takes pride in moves going smoothly. We appreciated the speed and effectiveness of the move along with the attention to detail and care of our belongings and floors/walls. The price was more than fair. Dan also perfectly laid out our furniture in an ideal manner, taking our feedback into account. I highly recommend using Dan the Mover!

Dan’s service was great! They called and got detailed info on what needed to be moved, with prompt estimate provided. Called a week before to confirm the move. On the day of the move, 8 guys showed up and had everything out faster than expected with care taken. They moved so fast that we had to delay the move into the next house by a couple hours. Would highly recommend!

Movers were able to load our stuff, disassemble furniture, reassemble furniture, and unload our stuff having to go from one third floor unit to another in crazy heat and humidity, all within about 2 and a half hours, way below expected duration. Friendly service and super helpful as well.

Dan, his wife Alice & his crew (long term employees) were amazing! My son researched so many moving company & then one Saturday we saw their truck. I said he had great reviews on Nextdoor. We included them in the search. My son did an excellent job. The decision to go with Dan the mover was based on their communication yet friendly professionalism all points covered. He followed up before the move - showed up at storage before we got there as well as his wife & the whole crew. Was at our place to move out in less time than expected and moved us into the new place in less time. It felt right - we had horrible experiences prior but did not mention this! Dan the mover felt like family! You will not be disappointed - without a doubt it was beyond expectations!

Communication prior to moving day was excellent. Movers arrived on time and removed all items in a timely and efficient manner. Taking caution to not damage moved items and also the areas they had to pass through. Delivery of items was just as professional. Will recommend Dan The Mover to family and friends.

Dan and his staff were fast, efficient, and friendly. Dan took the time to be on the job site during the move and ensure everything went smoothly. The guys asked questions when there was something that they were unsure of and didn't just throw it in a box. The unpacking at the second location happened on the same day with no items being damaged. We were concerned about a large, heavy, and very valuable embroidery machine, but the guys took the time to ensure it was packed with care. The pricing was great and if I had to move again (let's hope not) I'd use Dan and his staff.
