Excellent service at reasonable cost. I misplaced my credit card and after they completed the work on my car the owner came to my house with the credit card that I had left there. Paul Mahony.

Have my car in for inspection. Didn’t exactly meet the safety requirements, but they know what to look for and how to fix it. I appreciate their attention to detail keeping me safe on the road. I put a lot of miles on my car and know it is safe for another year of driving. Thanks for expertise.

Just took my truck to Marks on Tuesday around 10am for oil and multiple filter changes and it was ready by noon. Outstanding service and always willing to accommodate and work with me whenever I have last minute work schedule changes (which is unfortunately often lol), but overall just an authentic, cool group of guys to work with. Highly recommend to anyone in the Montgomery county area. Thank you guys as always 🤙🏽

Called for service and was taken care of on the same day. They are always reliable and fair; been a customer for over 15 years.
Recommend to anyone needing car repair or service.

I have been going to Mark’s Auto since 1999. I love the way they take care of me as a customer. Knowing that your car is working and will not break down on the road is a great comfort as a woman. I would not trust anyone else to service my vehicle.

Been taking my car here for years, always satisfied with the services provided. Not anymore. Since dealing with the new manager George, i have encountered nothing but arrogance and unprofessionalism. My last visit, I got an oil change and a coolant flush, in addition to asking them to diagnose a rattling noise I was hearing in my front left side. When I showed up to retrieve my car and started the ignition in the parking lot, the low coolant indicator was flashing and loudly beeping. I inquired about this and was told “oh it must’ve sucked more coolant in when you started it, we’ll add some more.” Their mechanic proceeded to pour at least another half gallon of coolant into the reservoir before it reached the fill line. How could they have not addressed this before I showed up to retrieve my vehicle? I started my car in the parking lot, didn’t move an inch, didn’t even put the car in drive yet, and the low coolant indicator was blinking and loudly beeping. Being a professional car repair establishment - how is it that me, the untrained paying customer, is the one addressing the low coolant indicator AFTER I just paid for a coolant flush? I could have easily driven away not noticing the low coolant indicator and proceeded to overheat my engine. Thankfully I did not. Not only that, but they told me they could not recreate the rattling noise I had been hearing and upon visual inspection, said there was nothing loose or in need of replacement. Essentially doing nothing. This brings me to now - the rattling that was never repaired has gotten substantially worse, so i made yet another appointment to have the same problem addressed. I made it clear that “we didn’t hear any noise when we drove it so we didn’t fix anything, sorry” was not going to be an acceptable outcome to my second visit. Anyone who heard the noise coming from my vehicle would be able to tell that something is in dire need of replacement. George told me that upon lifting the car and visually inspecting the suspension, they would be able to see what’s loose or worn out. Okay, then why does a professional mechanic need to hear a noise in order to diagnose a problem and perform a repair? I asked George, what can we do to assure this problem with my vehicle gets fixed instead of being told “we couldn’t hear any noise so we didn’t fix anything, sorry” for the second time? How did I ever get my car back with no repair done to the suspension whatsoever, if they can identify what’s loose or worn out upon visual inspection? Do they need to hear a noise to diagnose a problem, or can they identify a problem upon visual inspection? Georges answer was… both. Lol. Try to make sense of that. After expressing my concern about how we could avoid my second visit about the same problem resulting in “we didn’t hear a noise so we didn’t fix anything sorry” for the second time, George said to me on the phone, and I quote: “I don’t know, but you’re starting to piss me off”. I did not use profanity nor was I disrespectful in any way prior to this, and that’s how George speaks to a paying customer over the phone. Beyond unprofessional. One last tid bit - George has not been working there very long. Anyone who knows anything about cars knows that mechanic shops don’t make very much money when they do a warranty repair on a vehicle. My first time ever encountering George at marks auto, he was in the middle of telling a mother with her young daughter that “we don’t know what’s wrong with your car, you’re going to have to take it somewhere else”. As you can imagine, the woman proceeded to explain that she is already standing in a mechanics repair shop with her car in the garage and would like to pay to have whatever is wrong with it fixed, rather than take it somewhere else. George told her “we don’t know what’s wrong with your car, there’s nothing we can do for you, you’re going to have to take it somewhere else”. You guessed it, the car was under warranty and the cost of any repairs would have been covered under said warranty. I guess George didn’t want to do the warranty repair.
