Small selection of middle grade books. Lots of mass market paperbacks in the adult book section, which is not ideal. Some new books and trinkets too. We’ll stop back in to browse the kid books again.

Always a nice selection of books to go through each time we go there. Not many places around here like it that I'm aware of. All the more reason to take a peek

Before even getting to the amazing selection and pricing, Cathy’s gets 5 stars for service alone. Jake was super kind and helpful in spite of my indecisiveness and made sure I could find everything I needed and more. He clearly knows a lot, so if you’re not exactly sure what you’re looking for, this is the place for you. It was a bit intimidating at first but it is all organized really effectively and it was very easy for me to search through the shelves. Really good mix of new and used, and prices were more than fair especially for 2023. Go to Cathy’s and spend all your money, you won’t regret it.

I visited this place on Set 14th 2023. Much to my joy, the stacks were placed far enough apart that I was able to get my wheelchair through with no issues. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the overwhelming smell of old books. It was absolutely wonderful. In addition to a huge selection of books, I noticed they sell a few other things like candles, book themed pencil cases, some DVD/ Disc based games, and book themed tote bags. I ended up needing to buy one of the latter for the books that flung themselves at me and demanded I take them home with me. Who am I to refuse? The clerk was very friendly. I have been looking for a specific book hat I cannot remember the title of for over 15 years. They patiently listened to what I remembered of the plot, and took down my name and number in case they were able to find the book. All in all, this is a wonderful little place that I hope to visit again in the future. Considering I was only at this shopping plaza to get some Krispy Kreme, I find that this was a much better use of my time and I'm so glad I stopped in!

Trading for cash or store credit is always fair. Employees are nice. Books are in good condition and you can usually find what you're looking for.

Cathy's Half Price Books is worth a visit, however, their selection is fairly generic and the prices are on the higher end for a used book store. Most paperbacks are priced between $4-10.00, despite many being in fairly worn condition. There's a strong emphasis on Christian literature and their non-fiction section is limited. Most history books pertain to American military or political history with a dearth of books covering other countries. There fiction section is fairly large and there are many well-known authors to choose from but most books are mass-market paperbacks. If you're looking for rare or collectible books, you may want to search elsewhere.

Love browsing. The sale book cart at front of the store had some great finds. Have taken my books in so they could get a new home! (By appointment)

This is a very cute little book store. A lot reviews have said it's overwhelming when you first walk in and that's pretty accurate. Once you find out how cheap the books are, the feeling turns more into treasure seeking rather than being lost. There really is a crazy amount of books here. I love spending time after church just browsing and relaxing, seeing what little books I can find. Behind the counter, they have a rare book section with lots of goodies. I found a field manual from the First World War concerng infantry maneuvers! Give this place a go.

Don't trade here if you want to make a profit. Won't give books back either because "they were already processed"

Love this place! What a gem! Tons of kids books. Great policy on trade ins. Great selection. My personal favorite is the sports and leisure as well as travel section. My kids love the kids section too. Great to see a store that reduces waste in this industry.

An overwhelming amount of books but all really well priced. You don't feel rushed when browsing and the staff is very pleasant and helpful. You can trade in books via an appointment, and it's conveniently next to a Krispy Kreme. Beautiful selection and assortment of books new, and old.

Trade in value seems fairly low even when you do store credit. But prices to buy books seems fair compared to other used bookstores I've been to.
