If I could give them 6 stars I would. 1,000% recommend Delaware County Transmissions!!! They were amazing to work with and literally made my life so much easier!
2 weeks ago, my 2020 Ford Explorer started jumping and skipping while driving. I called my mechanic took my car in and he told me the transmission was shot and to call Ford immediately for them to fix it. It ended up being 6 months out of warranty, but luckily, I had extended coverage. Ford said they couldn't see me for a month to 5 weeks (I have 3 kids in sports and couldn't wait that long). They refused to give me a loaner, and all they did was try and put me in a new ford. I called Dominic at Delaware County Transmissions and not only did he get me in the day I called, but he had my car back to me in 4 days and it's running beautifully! He kept me informed every step of the way and reassured me everything was going to be fine! Do not go anywhere else for your transmission needs!!! I know I won't!

What is that saying? “Third Time’s The Charm” This saying is the best way to sum up my recent Transmission repair experience with Delaware County Transmissions located conveniently right off Eagle Road in Havertown, Pennsylvania.
Let me give you a little background. I really love my Truck, a 2015 Ford F150 XLT. I also really take great care of my vehicles. Oil changes are done at half the manufacturers’ recommended intervals as well as all the other maintenance being done before or when it is due. I am also a high mileage guy in that I have owned five or six vehicles that have gone well beyond 200,000 miles. This is easy to achieve if you take care of your cars and trucks.
Back to Delaware County Transmissions. I had a transmission failure back in October and after taking my truck to my go to shop decided that I should take it to a transmission shop that I have used in the past. The second shop gave me a similar diagnosis but slightly different than my go to guy but was able to do the work for $1,000 less. I had the second shop perform the work and then drove it for the next two months. Over that two-month period the transmission continued to perform poorly so I started looking for an alternative. I was at the point where I had decided that I was going to replace the transmission and then trade the truck in on a newer model.
After meeting with Domonic at Delaware County Transmission and shopping for the best price I decided to have Domonic perform the work. I picked up my truck yesterday and it feels like a brand-new truck. The remanufactured transmission Domonic installed is shifting flawlessly. Better than that was the fact that Domonic’s price was $2,000 lower than the other quotes I got and comes with a three year or 100,000-mile warranty.
The moral of this story is if you are having Transmission issues do not take your vehicle anywhere else. Take your vehicle immediately to Delaware County Transmissions and save yourself the hassle and expense of having someone else do it wrong.
I would highly recommend Domonic and his team!!!

Finding out you need a new transmission is not a great moment...do yourself a favor and don't add to your headaches by going somewhere else. If you need a new transmission, you definitely want to take your car here.
Our Chrysler Town and Country had been a headache with constant repairs, and then it started stalling at stop lights. After trying other fixes, our mechanic suspected the transmission. That wasn't what we wanted to hear. But once I called Dominic I felt a lot better. He’s knowledgeable, honest, and offers reasonable pricing. He told us there was an 80% chance the transmission was the problem but was upfront about the fact that it might be something else. We decided to replace it, and Dominic completed the job quickly with great communication. Now, the van runs like new, and the warranty gives us peace of mind.

GO TO THESE GUYS THEY ARE TRUE PROFESSIONALS!My 2014 ford van transmission was rebuilt over 2 years ago, it is still going strong. My 2006 subaru outback service light came on, I went to an auto parts store, diagnose: my transmission, take it to a mechanic. DCT told me; valve body needed to be rebuilt. I went online and Youtube had repair videos, DON"T believe it. Transmission repair parts vary for the same exact transmissions even within the same year. DCT sent my valve body to a company that specializes in that. They were extremely busy when I dropped it off on a monday, I picked it up on Friday and enjoyed a day at the beach on Sunday with my family. I recommend DCT to all my friends and neighbors. One last thing, my gas MPG was getting really bad before DCT fixed, afterwards I am getting 30% - 40% better MPG. I got my car back Aug 04, 2023 I have about 800 miles of city and highway.
