“Is staffed by friendly volunteers. It's the only shop in Valley Forge for lunch (sandwiches, hot dogs, etc.), snacks, beverages, and souvenirs. Homemade baked goods are delicious, very reasonable priced. There are tables both inside and outside to sit and enjoy your snacks. It is also a site for official drop off box for worn American flags. Parking is available at Washington Chapel lot. Hidden gem for a nice break, at the end of your tour of Valley Forge.”

“I’m from Ohio but I’ve been looking for the Gobfrey whale shark Jellycat for ages because my girlfriend wanted it but it’s always sold out online. I was finally able to get the real one for the orginal price and I can give it to her for Valentine’s Day now. The packaging it came in was so cute and it even came with some gummy nerd clusters. “Walking into Hello World Modern Mercantile was such a visual delight! I had first read about the store online where information found on the website suggested shopping in person would offer the fullest selection. So true! There is an immense array of gift items waiting to be discovered, so much so that I walked around the store several times. I did not want to overlook anything. The staff are terrific, and the store is an easy walk from 30th Street Station. Be sure to check it out!”

“I bought a pkg of 8 leaf shaped soaps for my bathroom.They are a great size!!! And so so colorful! The scent was of mychoice…applejack. Sooooo yummy smelling. The service was great and they arrived so quickly. This business is a keeper for sure!!! To boot, they sent me a free gift. Won’t say what it is.You have to buy from them yourself and find out. LOL These soaps are the loveliest I have ever seen and my bathroom looks and smells luscious!”

The owner curates an eclectic combination of pottery, wood boxes, pillows, glass craft, exceptional jewelry, handbags, clothing, other gifts, and an abundance of quirky merchandise that will keep one in the store for ages. It’s a carnival of wonders and fun. PPP does gift wrapping for smaller items and is staffed by warm and knowledgeable folks who are happy to help or to let you wander on your own, as you wish. I have at least a dozen pairs of elegant and fun earrings myself. It is always my first go-to for gifts. A local treasure.”
