I’ve been coming to Sittin’ Pretty for years and have always enjoyed the services. However, during my recent visit I had a concerning experience. While getting a pedicure, I noticed technicians sharing the same electronic nail drill back and forth between me and another customer. This raised serious concerns for me about hygiene and sanitation practices, especially when it comes to tools that could spread infection if not properly sterilized. The casual way this was handled makes me question how hygiene is managed overall.
When I brought it up, the front desk staff apologized and the owner later came over with a very sincere apology, which I appreciated. I truly hope the salon takes steps to improve its sterilization and hygiene procedures, as this is critical for client safety.

im actually so frustrated i paid 150 for my acrylic full set and 3 nails literally came off after 2 days.

Okay, so this salon is the absolute best. I’ve been going here a year or so and I’ve met some great people and even some new friends. You never know who is going to be in a chair next to you. Also, a lot of these clients I’ve chatted with have been around for many, many years, which is a great sign of how this place treats the people coming through the doors. I have had nothing but THE BEST service here. I brought my girls in for their birthday and they were given the royal treatment, it was very cute. Fabulous all around. Today I had a 2pm appointment I didn't get started on til 2:15 the rude young girl with the blonde hair did not tell my nail technician that I had arrived. Ava is usually at the front desk she is so sweet and attentive her customer service is always above and beyond. Today was the first time I've ever seen this young girl at the front desk she needs immediate customer service training other than that she should stay in the back and just stock. She's definitely bad for Sittin Pretty there's nothing pretty about her disposition..

This is my second bad experience. The service is poor quality and they do not practice good hygiene.I got dip on Saturday. On Sunday 3 of my nails had cracks in the nails. It is now Thursday (less than one week) and all nails have cracked appearances. I have been getting my nails done for 10+ years and have never had this experience. Additionally when my previous dip was removed I asked if I could wash my hands like I normally do before we start the new dip, The lady said no you don’t need to and without cleaning my hands she applied new dip. Lack of poor hygiene can lead to serious nail infections.Previously I had gel nail polish on and when my nails were soaked and covered with foil the lady I saw the lady open up old wrinkled foil and use it on my fingers. When I said something they dismissed my concerned. However the person sitting next to me said she had the same concern and saw they were unfolding and reusing foil that was used on a different person. Instead of addressing the issues and checking the foils to see if there were old ones the owner came over said this can’t be true and she had to get back to doing eyelashes for another person.Additionally, when I have asked to adjust a nail shape or apply another layer of a polish the technicians are very rude and inconvenienced. As customers we pay for a serve and have the right to make suggestions on how we want our nails done without having to deal with rude attitudes.I will not be returning due to poor hygiene and customer service .

I started coming here for a while now. In the beginning things were good. Prices stayed the same no hidden fees until recently. So I came in to get acrylic nails, my usual, but recently the tech who does my nails has not been doing them efficiently. After one week they start chipping and breaking off and the acrylic will seem to just wear off and it’s not even two weeks yet. So I come in to get a refill and all of a sudden they they are making several excuses of why they are charging me extra money. I can’t believe the lady said because my nails was growing funny ? come on now that doesn’t even make any sense then she tried to say oh because we cut down. How are you charging me to file down some thing when you’re not even doing it manually and this is a normal process of getting getting your manicure, it should be included in the price! It was slow day, so I’m assuming they’re just trying to make up for losses because out of all the nail salons I’ve gone to and that’s a lot of nail salons I’ve never had them charge me for filling down my nails, it’s not like my nail was super long. They were really short and it only needed to be trimmed down a little bit. Then the receptionist gives several excuse that made no sense just to take my money! I have a good job I make good money but when you start trying to rob me we have a problem and you lose a good customer. I am no longer coming back here! My advice, watch out for those hidden charges because they are out there and the math ain’t mathing!Not only that but the tech is constantly finding issues with my nails and charging me $5 per nail to repair. This is your work and your finding flaws with you work that means you need to step your game up ✌️
