We went to this hotel to celebrate a romantic birthday. Our stay was phenomenal. We were treated by the stuff very kindly and they gave us the best service possible. The waterfalls were stunning. Highly recommend!

Staying at the Ledges was the epitome of relaxation, marking the most serene experience I've had in travel! Every member of the staff, extended warm greetings and made me feel truly valued. The picturesque setting, complete with a waterfall, exuded tranquility, adding to the overall sense of calm. The culinary delights at Glass and the breakfast at Settlers were both exceptional. Regrettably, I didn't have the opportunity to indulge in the resort's other activities and amenities, but that just means I'll be eagerly returning in the future!

We had a great experience staying at the deluxe room. It was beautiful and spacious. The view from our room was absolutely stunning. Dave was the receptionist and he was one of the nicest people I’ve ever met! He made it so easy!Definitely would stay here again. The only con was us having to get water from lobby all the times.

Didn't stay here yet but checked out the outside areas and awesome waterfalls out back. Can't wait to go back for a drink on the patio. Falls were flowing more so than average after all the December rains. Worth the stop for sure.

GREAT EXPERIENCE! We got the suite and it was so spacious! Super clean, they have pots and dishes for cooking. Full size fridge, stove, and microwave. They are very friendly and warm. The guy at the front desk, Dave, was welcoming and sweet. He told us to go see the waterfall in the back which was DREAMY.there are lots of great places to eat and visit around the hotel. I highly recommend staying here for a long weekend and go touring around Hawley, NY.

A beautiful Dog Friendly Hotel tucked away in a serene spot. We had a deluxe king room. Spacious and 2 floors. Large table, plenty of seating, mini kitchenette with fridge, sink, flatware and dishes, coffee maker, ability to wash any dishes. 2 bathrooms upstairs and down. Food for dinner was delicious in restaurant and in room. Short staffed nights we were there. One menu, The landscape is gorgeous. Lots of trails, park, silkmill. Plenty to do. We had some insects in our room that they got rid of when cleaning the room. Was first cold snap and window had a Ac/heat unit in window so accessible. But bed was beyond comfortable! Everyone was helpful. Breakfast is a voucher choice of Settlers Inn or Cocoon Coffee house. Early for Settlers full breakfast. Beautiful place. Later or whenever Cocoon. Great ? food, fabulous service. We visit many local resorts. This was about an hour drive. Dog was happy. Be aware historic building no elevator.Rooms: The deluxe is spacious and a lot of room.Nearby activities: Trails, parks, near Lake, restaurants. Must walk to use steps if on upper floors.Safety: At 9pm door is locked your given 2 keys. One for room other for night door.Food & drinks: Great meals could use 2 menus alternating as Other resorts do.

The hotel was beautiful, they lost my and some of my friends reservation but luckily the bride figured that out months before the wedding and it was taken care of before we arrived. The person who checked us in was nice. There was no room service at all during our time there, that was weird. They had "activities" there, including a free wine tasting which was actually not wine it was a mixed drink. Bridal suit seemed to be nothing special about it. Out room was good clean, big, my only complaint is that it had a rain shower with no shower caps, and no non dairy milk for coffee anywhere. Overall the hotel itself was fine. I hope they don't regularly lose people's reservations though. That's super scary when you have an email confirmation and then you actually get there for an important event and there is not a room for you. Supper scary. Would I stay here again? No, it was to expensive for what it was.View was beautiful.Did you want your wedding to be beautiful with no issues, no extra fees, and perfectly cooked food? Well than this is not the place for you. Don't get me wrong the place is outright beautiful for a wedding. The broiler room holds about 60 people. And it was picture perfect. But the event does not start or end with a a beautiful location. For starters let's talk about the food, par-cooked rice, raw and cold beef, appetizer round did not have enough food to feed the whole group, passing hors d'oeuvres seemed short of 60 and they did not come into the room where people where actually in, and when asked for the beef to be cooked or more cracker or bead for the cheese platter ect we were meet with contempt . Oh and not to mention, the vegetarian meals that were ordered never came and when asked about it the planner said that the vegetarian mean was chicken, because apparently chicken is a vegetable. One person ended up with a salad and the other actually got a vegetarian meal hours afterwards. Now let's talk about the person you will be working for to make your wedding flawless. It will be anything but. The wedding planner that came with this location was outright horrible. No person getting married should ever have to deal with the things my friends delt with the week before and day of. That person could not remember the brides name (this seems like basic etiquette), she last minute kept adding on extra fees for the wedding (the week before and the day of), she was outright rude to guest, could not come up with a schedule for the day (the photographer did it), told us the heat was broken in the tent (a guest got it to work with a simple on switch), she "lost" the cake topper and had the groom very upset (luckily the venue did find is after the planner said it was gone), additionally she took the property of a guest and put in in the staff room (luckily we got it back) and took the brides silk flowers bouquet (never got back, the bride is very upset). Overall I highly recommend NOT using this place as a venue for an important thing like a wedding. Maybe something less important like a baby shower, maybe that would be fine.Rooms: Clean and huge.Food & drinks: Expensive but fine.Noteworthy details: Double check you have a reservation and they didn't lose it before you come.

My girlfriend and I took a trip to Ledges, where I planned to propose to her. The property is beautiful, and the staff was amazing - especially Dave at the front desk. Everyone went out of their way to make it feel special for us and to help out. The rooms are fantastic as well, with beautiful modern updated bathrooms and clean, well decorated designs. The on site restaurant and bar also had great food and great staff. Overall would highly recommend the hotel.

We went to the Ledges for a midweek "waterfall getaway". This is a lovely property. The hospitality is exceptional. The common areas are beautifully decorated, the exterior patio and views are lovely. We had a great experience dining at Glass the on property restaurant/lounge .The midweek deals and vouchers associated with the getaway package were great and nice values. All the Settlers Hospitality Group properties are top notch. We really enjoyed our stay.
