Lake Region Dime Bank has the most outstanding customer service. Every employee greets with a smile and willing to help with banking issues. Gabby, for example seamlessly transferred my compromised account to a new one while I waited. And, I walked out with a newly printed bank card and xtra checks.In addition, Julie called a questioned an outstanding check from that account and kindly had it paid from my new. Human touch is what is extraordinary here.Loyal Customer

Had them for 6 years never exceptionally helpful. Tons of fees minimal atm network and low interest rates. People that work here are alright overall been a lackluster experience.

Arlyce Degnan was very professional throughout the entire mortgage process. She made sure all t's were crossed and i's dotted. She made us feel very comfortable. The Dime Bank's rates were the best compared to their competitors. Highly recommended.

THE WORST BANK IN THE 570. The workers are barley trained and continually mess up depositing money into correct accounts as well as giving out false information when the simply do not know the answer to your questions. Cannot wait to get a new bank where people do their job because, time and time again the dime bank is just a place for wallenpaupack alumni who peaked in high school

I lost my debit card several times over the past year issued from The Dime Bank on Welwood Ave, in Pennsylvania. It was not intentional and certainly not by design. I reported each and every one to the bank immediately as lost. There have been two different times over my lifetime of 69 years that my accounts have been the subject of fraudulent behavior and not connected to this bank. However The Dime Bank said due to my behavior losing so many of my cards, I represented a risk to the bank of possible loss of funds, deactivated my debit card and refuses to issue me another. The ramifications of this "policy" have effected my life tremendously and with difficulty. How can this be anyone's policy?

I didn’t think it was possible anymore to find a bank that doesn’t live on fees and find ways to fee it’s customers. This bank looks like they spared no expense inside and out. They hired quality people. I got a follow up thank you note. And when the staff forgot something they called, emailed and send a letter apologizing and wanting to get it done. I’m not sure what else I could ask for thats not outrageous.

Great bank, no frills, no pressure, local and friendly. Opened up a business account with them after being scammed by Wells Fargo. Never looked back.
