“On a Friday, my cat was ill & I had not found a local vet since we moved here a year ago. I called my regular vet in Warwick NY & they were booked solid so I needed to find someone local. NOTE TO PET OWNERS: Find a local vet before you need them. I was foolish to wait but don't make my mistake. ALSO find & save the name, number & address for an EMERGENCY VET. This will highly likely be different from your regular vet. In an emergency, you WILL NOT have time to find the best/closest place to go. After calling a couple of vets we found on Google who were booked, we took a chance & called Wallenpaupack Veterinary. Miracle of miracles, they had a cancellation & got us in that afternoon. The vet listened to my concerns & gave me options for tests. I didn't feel they were doing unnecessary procedures or tests to pad the bill. Turns out there was nothing seriously wrong with my cat BUT seeing Wallenpaupack Veterinary gave me piece of mind going into the weekend.”
