“For my 53rd birthday, I decided to get my third earring hoke redone, as when I was in foster homes at 10 years old, we did the piercings with ice, needles, and string. Mine closed. I redid the piercing and it closed a second time. I've always been bothered by the whole thing. Aidalisa did an excellent job explaining the process and balanced my new piercing with the 2nd opening that upsets me so much and with the other ear and piercings that are acceptable to me already. I didn't want to spend this much but there are special earrings fir the piercings and I chose to get a pretty pair instead of just a stud fir one piercing to be successful. Happy 53rd to me. The earrings are very pretty. See pics. They have warranties and such but I didn't want to spend even more. Over all, I am pleased and these earrings seem as if they will stay in the ear and the backs not fall off. If I didn't have all kinds of equipment at home for wound care, then the kit would be a good idea. My little girl had her ears pierced here 24 years ago and her experience was excellent as well. I did call around to try to find a place that would be able to do just pierce it simply without a lot of expense. It was 20 bucks back then but if I wanted to just do a steel ball on one side I could probably do it for 30 35 bucks but that's ugly. My daughter had little gold hearts with a stone in the middle. You can't bring your own earring. You need to buy an earring here that they treat and I guess that's okay. If you're going to do it do it right. I thought the price was okay at the end of the day but it's going to cost you four times what it did 20 years ago. I've had 15 surgeries and broken bones. I was able to get through this with flying colors and I think it was worth it. You'll have to keep your earring in for one month. Maybe have an earring piercing that stays in properly will prevent it from closing this time”
