DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!
MY FIANCE WHO IS A CANCER PATIENT BROUGHT HIS CAR HERE FOR SHOCKS AND SWAY BAR LINKS AND NOW HIS CAR WON'T START AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON.
THE CAR WAS RUNNING 100% FINE OTHER THAN WHEN YOU WENT OVER A POT HOLE, YOU FELT IT MORE- THATS WHY THE SHOCKS WERE NEEDED.
SO ON TOP OF ALL THE MONEY HE PUT OUT FOR THE CAR WITH THEM, HE HAS TO TAKE IT TO A HIGH END DEALER WHICH IS GOING TO COST A CRAZY AMOUNT. AND IM SORRY BUT MCCARTHY SHOULD PAY FOR IT BECAUSE NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH THAT CAR BEFORE THEY TOUCHED IT.
WE TRUSTED THEM WITH THE ONLY CAR WE HAVE TO GET HIM TO CHEMOTHERAPY TREATMENTS, TESTS, DOCTORS AND EVERDAY RUNNING THAT PEOPLE DO.
NOW WE SIT IN THE HOUSE AND HAVE TO WAIT WEEKS TO GET INTO ANOTHER PLACE SO HOPEFULLY THEY CAN FIX IT.
DON'T TAKE THE CHANCE AT BRINGING YOUR VEHICLE HERE UNLESS YOU WANT MORE PROBLEMS THAN WHAT YOU STARTED WITH.
WE DID CONTACT YOU AND YOU SAID YOU DIDN'T BELIEVE YOU COULD DO ANY WORK THAT IT PROBABLY NEEDED TO BE DONE. YOU TOLD US THAT IT PROBABLY WOULD BE BEST TO TAKE IT TO CHEVY BECAUSE THEY HAVE THE MACHINES THAT WOULD PINPOINT THE PROBLEM.
BOTTOM LINE IS WE HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH THE CAR BEFORE YOUR GUYS WORKED ON IT. NO PROBLEMS WITH STARTING IT, NO STABILITRAK PROBLEMS, NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT.
COINCIDENCE IS HARD TO BELIEVE THE DAY AFTER YOU HAD OUR CAR WHEN WE HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH THE CAR OTHER THAN THE SUSPENSION.

I was losing tire pressure omw home and stopped in and they got me in and out in 10 mins. Walmart had an over an hour wait. So grateful!!

I dropped my car off for new brakes and an inspection. Upon dropping it off I was asked if I needed brakes and rotors or just brakes. I replied with just brakes. They call me shortly after I drop it off stating I needed new tires to pass inspection. That’s fine. It was almost expected! I go to pick up my car and he tells me my total comes to about 600$. I thought to myself “wow. That’s higher than expected.” I paid the bill and looked at the itemized receipt. They charged me for rotors anyway after I specifically told them only brakes. Their excuse was they also failed inspection for RUST! ! This is not only a bull excuse but also untrue. My grandfather is a mechanic and had looked at my car prior to dropping it off. They 100% took advantage of me. Not only did they charge me for rotors after I specified I didn’t need them, they left everything in my glove box torn apart looking for my registration. A good establishment would have picked up what they destroyed. Instead they left it all over the floor of my car and my front seat. Fast forward, on my drive home, I notice a noise coming from my tire. It sounded like metal hitting off of metal. I take it back and my brake wasn’t installed right. They fixed it and test drove it 5 feet and decided it was fine. There was ANOTHER noise coming from my tire , and he told me it sounds like my wheel bearing. I am not taking my car back here. I am going elsewhere. I had such a horrible experience, I was overcharged and had a 600$ bill for brakes and inspection! My car left a wreck and problems with my tire after someone there had replaced everything. I do not recommend this place at all.
Edit: I brought my car back for a reoccurring noise coming from my tires. After doing donuts in the parking lot, they told me it’s my CV axle going bad, on a Jeep that’s 5 years old! I didn’t believe them so I took it to another mechanic in Lehighton. He told me it’s not my cv axle and it’s related to my tires (the ones that they had replaced). They have proven to me they are not reliable and lied to me to get me to stop bothering them. I just wanted my car back to the condition I dropped it off to them in. I expected them to own up and fix what they did and it’s quite obvious they will not be. I don’t recommend this place to anyone. I will be taking my car to another mechanic for that establishment to fix my car back to its original condition.

We got a flat tire on our way home from a wedding. The nail was in the tire and the air was coming out! Called 2 different places and was not able to get tire fixed today, called McCarthys and they said come over we will get you fixed up! 10/10 service they saved us !! Thanks Augustine!

They were awesome I callee because I purchased tires and no one would change them cuz they weren't the recommended tire for my car and they brought us in upon arrival and did all 4 tires a big thanks to all them there
