About The Salvation Army Thrift Store & Donation Center
The Salvation Army Thrift Store & Donation Center offers a large selection of items across three floors, making it one of the largest thrift stores in Pennsylvania. Shoppers can find a variety of clothes, home decor, and even a notable VHS collection at affordable prices. The friendly staff adds to the positive shopping experience, with great daily deals available. However, some reviews mention that parking can be a challenge, as it is limited to street parking, and the upper floors may be hard to access for handicap persons. While some customers feel that certain items are overpriced compared to nearby stores, many appreciate the budget-friendly options and the overall variety available. Donations are accepted, and proceeds support important rehabilitation programs.
I dropped off a carfull of stuff and left with a new ( new to me) rocking chair. I got a $20 parking ticket for parking in a designated parking space!!! I guess that's how Hazleton makes it's money. I never saw a sign about limited parking there, so out of towners beware!!!
