I bought a $12 item after my wife already bought it. Of course I told the clerk to toss the receipt. I went to return it and the employee went through the trash to find the receipt so I could get a refund.
Thankfully there was not a line at the register.

The cashier Jason was so so helpful he help me find stuff that was on the clip less coupon and scan the item to make sure it was the right one he was heaven sent sure made my trip there very pleasant I am sure to tell my friends and family members and social media then when it was time to check out he was so pleasant put a smile on my face for sure and when he said the total I put my card in and there was still a $2.46 total left being on a fix income and Medicaid and snap I said I can put something back but with out thinking and saying a word he reach in to his pocket and said it's only $2.46 I have it wow I could not believe the kindness my eyes started to water I did not believe the kind hearted man Jason did for me I will try to repay him the first of the month he is definitely a value and should get recognized for all that he does for the company

Today 7/27/24 a Female cashier kept following me around the store ! Felt super uncomfortable… Im a coupon queen not a thief. Literally every single aisle I went into she followed me in the aisle and kept staring at me and in the cart then as I approached the register she began checking customers out. Not a friendly location at all !

I think they should have at least one or two scooter for the disable and keep it in the back charge up. Everyone can't walk like they use too. Am fighting Multiple Sclerosis. Just a thought thank you.

First time shopping at this location and I have to say this place was by far the cleanest and organized Dollar General I’ve ever been in! The cashier was very nice and respectful And the employee stocking shelves seemed genuinely happy doing his job. The atmosphere had a good vibe! Definitely will be back.

If you ever have a Fedex Drop with car parts in the box and they ask you if it's car parts - say NO. I was dropping off core returns with a prepaid return Fedex Ground label on 4/12. I was asked that question. Unaware why I was being asked that, I said "yes". The gentleman said Fedex doesn't take car parts from that location. So then I told him it's not car parts. His response was that since I had already told him, he won't take it. I even asked him if it was a Dollar General policy or FedEx's. He said it was a FedEx policy.I called FedEx, arranged a pickup at my house, and asked them why they wouldn't pick up car parts from that location. The response was that there is no Fedex policy like that, and it must be a decision of Dollar General. So, either the guy I spoke to lied, or has been mis-informed by management about why auto parts can't be shipped from there.The ironic thing is that there was a young woman at the register, that I could tell by her body language and reaction that she would have taken it if he wasn't there.So, in all, not a huge deal, but one star for the lie or misrepresentation and trying to blame Fedex for their own policy.
