Review Title: Disappointing Customer Service Experience with UPS
I visited a local store to drop off today July 29, 2025 at approximately 1430 hrs to drop off an Amazon package, and I have to say, it was one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I've had in a while.
When I walked in, I was met with complete silence from the staff—no greeting, no acknowledgment, nothing. I approached the counter, and when I couldn’t immediately find my return label on my phone, the employee’s annoyance was palpable. Instead of offering assistance or a friendly nudge in the right direction, he just stood there and watched me struggle on my phone and when i would say something he just ignored me , making me feel even more flustered.
I understand that everyone has busy days, but a little patience and kindness go a long way in customer service. Instead of helping me navigate the situation, the staff member seemed irritated that I was taking up their time. After a few awkward moments, I finally found the label, but by then, I was already feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome.
To top it all off, there was no “thank you” or goodbye as I left. It’s disheartening when you’re just trying to complete a simple task and are met with such rudeness. I really hope management takes note of this behavior, as it reflects poorly on the store. I’d love to see improvements in customer service so that future customers don’t have to endure the same unpleasant experience.

I love my UPS in Hellertown and go there often, always pleasant and helpful. Today 7/25/25 I went there with several Amazon returns and had the unfortunate luck to deal with a woman who obviously was totally annoyed by everything and everyone. I had my 4 little returns lined up and the last one when scanned I was told was for Staples. She said I should move aside and cancel that return and re-enter it for UPS. unfortunately the internet inside the building was so so bad I could not get a connection so I waited my turn again and told her I wasn’t able to connect so would come back another time. I asked her for my receipt with the tracking for the three items that she had scanned for UPS. She told me that she had already given me the receipt. I replied “no you did not”, and I looked in my purse to confirm, and again said “no you did not”. She replied “I already gave them to you”and said she would need the QR codes to scan again, to which I replied “I can’t access them because I can not connect to your internet.” All the while she continued to sigh and huff and mutter that she needed to get her work done.
I ended up going home and cancelled the return to staples and redid it for UPS and went to Quakertown and treated very calmly and pleasantly.
The woman in Hellertown did not have a name tag but was middle eastern based on her accent. I was there on 7/25/25 at 11:43 am. She was very irritable either the other customers also, a POOR representative for the UPS store.

I have gone to the Hellertown UPS store many times, and they’re always so helpful.
This morning they went above and beyond to help me get a package returned. The Lead female staff member was so kind, and helped me navigate through the process of a package return for the Company. I needed to return the package to get my money back, but the sent email from the Company would’nt let me open the QR Code to scan. She read through the email for me, because I had no readers to read the small print. She let me forward her the email to the Store email address and she printed it out for me and packaged up the bag the item was shipped in. She was wonderful, because if she hadn’t helped me I 1. Would have wasted a trip to their store but more importantly 2. She saved me from having to go home to call the Company to figure out how I could resolve the issue, which we all know how long those phone calls can take with so much hassle. Super Awesome Woman!!!!

Drove to the store and they wanted $5 bucks to tape my label to my package and another time I went to the store there was a sign on the door that said closed due to family emergency.

This location has been the WORST UPS Store I have ever dealt with. I shipped my package from them for the first and only time. They messed up the return address that my package was lost for a whole week. It was delivered to a permanently closed business with no way to get in touch with anyone because of said mess up on the return address. The manager who apparently is the only person who can help you is apparently never in the store and definitely does not return phone calls ( I left 2 messages for her as well as showed up different times of the day). I just had to pay to send out the same package because I can't get a refund. In my opinion this place is a joke. If you have a seriously important package to send I suggest traveling to another location.
