I recently had a disappointing experience with DIEHL of Hermitage Chevrolet Toyota's contracts, service, and overall customer experience. I purchased three contracts for my Tacoma: the Road Hazard Tire & Wheel Contract for $399.00, the Vehicle Service Contract for $3,336.00, and the Zurich Shield for $999.00. Unfortunately, I was unhappy with the level of customer service I received when attempting to use these contracts. When I contacted the customer service department on March 10, 2023, to make an appointment for routine maintenance and to place a claim using the Road Hazard Tire & Wheel Service Contract, I was informed that I would have to wait for two weeks to receive maintenance service. This was despite my salesman, Paul Hilliard, promising me that I would receive immediate service if I brought in a bad tire due to purchasing the contract. Furthermore, I was upset because my contract promised that if I had a flat and brought it back to the dealership, I would not have to pay a copay. After waiting for two weeks, I found out that my appointment had not been booked. I visited the service department in person on April 1st to make a new appointment, ensure that my appointment was scheduled, and find out if DIEHL Service Department contacted the insurance company about my tire. However, they didn't have any information for me regarding my tire. Consequently, I had to leave my tire at the dealership. When I called on Monday, I was told that they had been busy all day. As of today, I am still on my spare tire.In light of my experience, I decided to cancel my contracts with DIEHL of Hermitage Chevrolet Toyota. I submitted a formal cancellation notice that included all the necessary information, and I hope that the appropriate refunds have been processed. While I cannot recommend this dealership's contracts, service, or experience, I hope that they take steps to improve their customer service and meet the expectations they set when selling contracts.Overall, my experience with DIEHL of Hermitage Chevrolet Toyota's contracts, service, and experience was disappointing, and I would caution any consumers buying additional contracts from this dealership to carefully consider their options.

I wouldn't recommend this dealer to anyone. I scheduled an oil change 2 weeks ago and they call me the day before telling me my appointment was booked over and they can't get me in. I only went here because they pushed the "benefit" of free oil changes but how is that a benefit if you can never get in? I'll now have to go pay for an oil change. Ever since this company changed to Diehl it's been progressively going downhill. I will never buy another vehicle from this dealer again

I see nothing has changed here, even worse since it changed hands recently. Tried calling to get service on a different car I own and no one ever calls back. I filed a claim for Toyota to cover the service, and they threw away my claim instead of filing it. Even after many calls to corporate Toyota, nothing was ever done and I was never called. NEVER AGAIN. I drove to Meadville Toyota and was treated quickly, with respect, service performed and timely. See how easy that is? Diehl could take a few lessons. I was hoping new ownership meant the problems of the past would be fixed. I was wrong - it's even worse now.

Had a smooth and easy buying experience here. My salesman Jason was very helpful and informative. I bought a used car from them and they actually listed the car way under-priced compared to market value. They could have sold the car for $5000+ more to another buyer but they still sold it to me anyway and honored the deal, even though there was no documents or any agreements signed yet. I am also an out-of-state buyer so everything was virtual and all the documents were signed electronically. It was easy and a few days later, they met me halfway from my location to deliver the car. Not to mention their service-department are also very detailed and the used-car I bought was well serviced. Even the air in the tires were all even when I checked it. I would definitely recommend this Toyota dealer to anyone even for out-of-state buyers. Keep up the great work Diehl Toyota.

Repairs were over $ 600 and then charged me $ 30 to dispose of their rags. This is second time they did this. I'll never buy or take my cars to Taylor for repair again. Ernie K.

I had a very poor experience with them. I set up an appointment to meet with someone at a specific time to look at a specific vehicle. I drove over an hour to get there. I arrive and they had no idea I was coming, and they didn’t even have the vehicle anymore because they had sold it. It would have saved me a lot of time and money if I had known the vehicle had been sold already. Very unprofessional and very disappointing.

I purchased a used 2014 F150. The salesman was nice and after the test drive we came to a agreement on price and the specific repairs I required to purchase the vehicle. I was assured that all specific repairs would be completed in 1 week. The repairs consisted of a small amount of body/paint work in which I agreed to pay half, a replacement rear speaker, cut or replace all the rotors since they were visibly warped and worn, replace a missing running board cap, and elimination of a banging sound during initial acceleration. I returned after 1 week after being assured everything was done. Upon return the paint and speaker replacement was done but I found the rotors were not cut or replaced and the running board cap was still missing. I was told the cap would be coming in the mail but that never came. The banging sound was minimized that day but came back two days later. I called the service manager and left a message but received no reply. Given the truck was already paid for, the dealership is 1 hr away, and I don't have the time to chase down unresponsive people, I just decided to cut my losses and never do business there again. There are many worse used car buying experiences, but a deal is a deal and they didn't honor their side of it.

Bought a Toyota Tundra from another dealer less then a year I put 3,259 miles on it since purchase. I took my truck to these guys because they are closer to where I live for my first state inspection since buying this truck. It’s a 2016 has 32,120 miles on it. Anyway they failed my front, rear brakes and rotors. So since I just bought this 10 months ago from Allegheny Toyota they ether sold me a vehicle that had brakes that nearly passed or Taylor Toyota was just trying sell me parts I don’t need. So called Allegheny Toyota from Taylor and they told me to bring it to them. Well guess what? The brakes passed and so did the rotors.Service: General repairs & maintenance
