FNB is not even close forecasting escrow for taxes. Id be fired if my forecasts were off that much. also pandemic is over for years now. enough with increasing costs just because its the trendy thing to do.

The mortgage management of this bank is very less transparent. The customer service sucks, wait time of 45-60 minutes. Regular banking from bank locations are good. The online banking via web and mobile app sucks. No option of mortgage statements online. They send paper copies if you don’t save them you are left with no copies. There is no other perks of having account with this bank, credit unions are way better.

I just moved back to Pennsylvania from Florida and had to change banks because there are no Wells Fargo in PA. I picked First National because of its convenience to my home but I am VERY UNHAPPY with this joke of a bank. First of all they told me it's going to take 15 days to get my debit card in the mail but it was ordered. I went to another branch near a friend's home because I was told I could get a debit card until my actual card comes and the lady said they don't do that for new accounts. Why? In this day and age where people pay online using THEIR DEBIT CARD we kind of need one. I called customer service just now to see if my card was even shipped yet and he told me it WAS NEVER ORDERED! Are you kidding me??? I am not happy with FNB and will be finding another bank ASAP!

Single Dad with full custody, recently lost his job! My bank account was hacked through an ebay scam. I have never been hacked before, I notified my bank ( FIRST NATIONAL BANK OF PA ) at once. Did everything they told me to, filed a police report, had my devices cleaned. Closed all my accounts. Reset all passwords etc. $2500 dollars was pulled from my account funneled through Coinbase app. That was all the money I had and my unemployment has not kicked in yet. Everyone told me not to worry that it had happened to them or someone they knew and their banks all refunded their money. Not one person from the bank reached out to me, I emailed the fraud department asking what else I could do. They never returned my emails. And they denied returning my money. They banks are insured through the government when stuff like this happens. Anyhow their reasoning was, because I had used the Coinbase app in past ( to buy small amounts of cryptocurrency) that they would not help me out. I we ( My daughter and I ) are now being evicted from our home. My car loan is through FNB, they will probably repo my car!! I have never ever been scammed or asked a bank to stand behind and protect me and my daughter! Do not trust this bank with your money or looking out for you as a customer! They only care about themselves !! You have been warned! *****My God look at their terrible reviews!! That speaks for its self!!

I have been a customer at this bank for over 20 years, with 9 accounts. Today I will be looking for a new bank. Due to $25 of service fees on a custodial savings account. So disappointed with the lack of service I received today.

The worse bank. I have a auto loan through them and they do not allow online banking for loans, can’t make any debit/credit card payments, can’t make over the phone payments until your 10-15 days late, only accept acct and routing number afterwards for payment or mailed check. It’s like they want you to be late. I tried to pay the bill pay via check one time, two checks at once actually, but they kept claiming they didn’t get the check after almost a month and so they towed my car. Next day they said one check came, but now I had $400 plus dollars in towing fees and I stopped payment on the second check and wired the funds instead because who knew when will they receive that one !

The branch in Hummelstown is the worst!! I tried to open a checking account with my son and then apply for a car loan. I tried to do online twice. That didn't work so I went in person and was told no one could help me. I explained I tried to do it online, but it didn't work and I have several accounts there and just need to open an account or add my son to mine. The teller says "that's all fine and good, but I told you we have no one to do it and we won't for at least 3 months." I said "Okay I guess I'll find another bank, and then he replies "You go do that!" So, guess who trains their tellers to also open accounts? MEMBERS FIRST, which is a short walk away. I am now changing ALL my accounts to them. How can you walk in a bank for $1,200 cash and they say they have no one to help you open an account or add someone to an existing account??Don't tell me this bank doesn't have management that could come in a couple hours on a Sat and take care of their customer's needs. They clearly don't care. I have no idea how this bank stays in business! They lost a long time, loyal customer because of very poorly trained staff.

I recently was the victim of fraud on my account that caused my account to be overdrawn. FNB charged me over $700+ in fees for charges I didn't even incur. I disputed the charges to the companies and they promptly refunded the money, however I am still waiting on this bank to refund the 700+ in charges that they charged on the fraudulent activity. I don't even use this account. This bank is predatory. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.

Account opened in June 2022: The Grindstone, PA office is beyond horrible. They ran my credit WITHOUT my permission. Kept saying they would help and call me back but took months to get anywhere with them. I started off with my mortgage loan, then added my checking, savings, and money market. I then opened my auto loan with them and finally a credit card. I closed my auto loan, checking, savings, and money market. I am now trying to close the credit card but NO ONE WANTS TO HELP!! I no longer have the card and you need the 16 digits to get thru to a customer service rep. I cannot wait to get rid of these people 100% but the current state of the US and the interest rate hike... I am stuck sadly. But look at the 1 star reviews and be cautious before opening with these people.

No surprise to see all the 1 star reviews here. These guys are common crooks. They will screw up your money then treat you like you have no recourse. They will lie, leave you on hold, disconnect the line. You will spend hours and months of your life trying to sort out their screw ups and get your money back. If ever. I’m not talking petty cash. I’d be in jail if I stole the amount of money these degenerates have.

They dont even deserve one star. Terrible bank to do bussiness with. Sent photos of home before beginning the process. Had unfinished ceilings. Asked up front if it would be an issue was told that as long as the home appraised for higher than the amount I was borrowing it would be a non issue. House appraised higher than amount borrowed. Move all the way to the end of the process, waiting for confirmation everything is good to set closing date. A week goes by no word and no response from the underwritter or loan officer I had spoken with prior. Finally get a call back and I'm told that they won't fund the loan because of unfinished ceilings. Loan officer gives some excuse about he didn't know they were that bad. I remind him I have an email I sent with pictures of the ceilings and his response that it's not an issue. He basically tells me there isn't anything he can do unless I can get the ceilings finished. Tell him it's not happening that I'm backing out of the deal and I'll be filing suit to recoup costs for lost time, appraisal fees and other coat I incurred. The loan officer then contacts my realtor to attempt to negotiate a deal on behalf. I call back back and inform him I'll be filing a TILA complaint and that as someone who works for a mortgage servicer I know his conduct isn't just unethical its illegal. I get a call back the next day informing me the underwritten has agreed to move forward under the original agreement. Then after closing its been a hassle every month just to pay my mortgage. They have no automated option for making payments and no online option. I can send a check and hope it actually gets there in time despite excessive delays with the postal service or I can call. When you call its at least a 30 min wait to get to a rep every single time because they are "understaffed". And their customer service ends at 6pm so I have to call on my lunch break and hope I get through in time to make my payment. On top of all of that had error processing the payment. I was never contacted and informed of this. I called when the grace period was about to expire (12 days after I made the payment) when I noticed it never came out. Was first told there was an error and when I asked why I wasn't informed I was told it wasn't actually an error the payment department was just behind, still not sure what the real story was. Requested a supervisor was sent to voice mail and never recieved a call back. Everything about my experience with them has been terrible. As soon as I'm eligible to refinance I'll be doing so even if it means a higher interest rate.

Read the reviews, google the name! Check out the WORST bank in Pennsylvania and possibly the world! The only reason they have any customers at all is because they acquired them in a merger with Metro Bank. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT put your hard earned money in this sad excuse for a bank. Dogecoin, a mattress, or penny stocks are all safer places to to put your money than FNB.

Worst bank to go through for a vehicle loan. When the loan is paid in full and even after the vehicle is paid in full and address change submitted it is difficult to get the title. Title sent to wrong address and after 3 weeks the bank said there was nothing that could be done but wait. Do NOT deal with them....not one person that answers the phone was able to correctly transfer a call and all of them sound like they hate their jobs!!!
