A simple letterhead letter stating that I'm making payments to them on my RV so I can get it registered out of state is too much to ask for this bank. I would advise going somewhere that works with their customers. Too bad I can't rate a 0 *

The mortgage management of this bank is very less transparent. The customer service sucks, wait time of 45-60 minutes. Regular banking from bank locations are good. The online banking via web and mobile app sucks. No option of mortgage statements online. They send paper copies if you don’t save them you are left with no copies. There is no other perks of having account with this bank, credit unions are way better.

The most incompetent company I have ever dealt with. It’s getting to the point I feel like I have a second job since I have to clean up their mistakes over the phone every other month which takes hours since there are always long hold times, then when you do reach someone they pass you around to multiple departments. They always mess up my account.Recently for the past 2-3 months they wait until after my payments are due to send me an invoice (I can’t pay online either)..so now even more time on the phone wasting my time. Wish I didn’t have my loan through them. They are a nightmare.

The bank is fine for cashing a check. Anything more they are terrible. Make you “take a seat”, and forget about you. Go somewhere else.

This bank is absolutely horrendous! Calls to customer service leave you with a message saying your call will be answered in 1-2 minutes just for you to sit on hold for 40 minutes. (Happens every single time I call). Needed to change due date on auto loan payment in which they told me I have to hand write a letter to change the date and then resend the letter to change it back because this month I needed the extra 10 days. You can not pay any of your bills through debit card and must instead send in a check or a bill pay system through your own bank. Customer service is absolutely garbage ! Hands down worst bank I have ever, ever dealt with in my life. Need to refinance ASAP !

This. Establishment. Is. The. Worst. I finaced my first car through them 8 years ago. They claimed I didn't have insurance and therefore put force placed insurance on the car for the entire length of the loan WITHOUT TELLING ME. Hours spent on the phone trying to sort out what proof I needed to provide, over a dozen calls for them to correct the mistake. I guarantee had I not called to check the balance they would have slapped me with a $10,000 bill at the end of my loan terms. When I finally thought my nightmare was over I went to purchase a new car, and they hadn't stamped my title correctly when they mailed it to me, PREVENTING ME FROM BUYING A NEW CAR. I called over 20 times and they would pick up and hang up because it was within 30 minutes of their closing time. What kind of people do that? I firmly believe they take on car loans for young or first time buyers because they think they can manipulate and cheat them. I hope they go out of business. The absolute worst.

We have a business loan with them, and ever since November of 2020, we do not get our bill in the mail until AFTER the payment is due. Therefore, every month I have to drive 40 minutes out of my way to go to the branch, with no bill, to make a payment so I don't get charged a late fee and negatively effect our credit score. We have about 7 years left on the term of the loan, but I can guarantee you I will pay it off by the end of this year, just so I don't ever have to deal with them again.

Never actually had an issue just the drive thru takes FOREVER to get thru. Usually wait anywhere from 10-25 mins every time.

These people are the ABSOLUTE WORST!! I decided to change my loan and go through my credit union instead because I got a better interest rate. It’s almost not worth it. I have spent countless hours on hold being bounced from one incompetent person to the next trying to get my ten day payoff and a copy of my title. The Branch transfers me to the 800 number, the 800 number says the branch has to provide this. DO NOT BANK WITH THEM. This has been an absolute nightmare.

I am on my 4th commercial equipment loan with First National. Vicky and Candy are both extremely nice and AMAZING!!!! They both work extremely hard and go out of their way for you. I live in Maryland, and have a branch close by. But I give all my business to Hermitage!
