Jeff went out of his way to help find what I was looking for even though it was not obviously in the store
Who made the extra effort to search for a replacement item if possible
He went over and above to help me what the issue at hand

Lowes Hermitage, Pa store is absolutely the worst! There's no one ever to be found to help you, or answer a question, and even the few employees you have don't know how to do anything!! Hire more, and school your employees in orientation before the start work

I bought my husband a snowblower from Lowe's in Hermitage Pennsylvania. It was faulty and that the battery almost burned on my entire home in my sunroom. Have we not been home it would've burned down. My husband made two trips over there only to speak to Amanda a.k.a. Karen who is a manager there. He ended up driving back home he had a total of 75 miles and his trip and I had to call and got her on the phone. Most childish immature ignorant manager I've ever spoke to my entire life. I then spoke to manager by the name of Jared he was super nice and he indicated to me that he had numerous issues with customers saying she was rude. This Amanda manager was beyond the word rude. She literally was standing by the customer service desk and kept picking the phone up so I couldn't get through to her boss and refused to give me her name I had to get it from the customer pick up desk. i asked Jared why is she still a manager then. She literally would not let me get through on the phone and speak to Jared she was standing by the customer service desk and kept picking the phone up. If there ever was a Karen that's a manager at Lowe's in Hermitage her name is Amanda. I spend $10,000 a year there flipping properties and that's how she treats me trying to charge my husband and I a restocking fee for a snow blower that almost burned our house down. Lol The manager Jared in charge of the store gave me his working hours to bring it back to take care of things and then give me a discount on another one. I'm turning her into corporate office

I am a retired engineer with decades of experience in building construction. When I contemplated a kitchen & bathroom remodel I prepared detailed CAD drawings of the countertops accurate +/- 1/16". I took these plans to Lowes where I was given an estimate and paid that day (2/27/21) $3,223. I also proceeded to purchase thousands of dollars' worth of plumbing supplies, sinks, faucets and appliances. On 3/11/21 a technician from Rock Solid Surfaces (Lowes' subcontractor) came out to "template" the countertops. I'm in my 60's and had not yet been vaccinated. He initially arrived wearing a face mask, but removed it after about 10 minutes and never put it back on. I had my mask and glasses on the entire time. He is a stranger in my home and asking someone to wear a mask can quickly become confrontational so I tried to maintain as much distance as possible, however going over plans and paperwork necessitated I be in close contact to compete the visit. On 3/22/21 I was contacted by Lowes and told I would have to pay an additional $440. I was told their computer system made an error and underestimated the amount of material required. This despite my providing highly accurate CAD drawing of the work. Their system error was now my problem and I had to pay up. No going back now; I've ordered major appliances, torn out the caulking and unbolted the old countertops in preparation. The install crew arrived on 4/7/21. They were a little better about wearing face masks but had them on only about 50% of the time. When they first laid out the bathroom countertop they said it was a little too long and encroached into the ceramic tile. The earlier "template" process was intended to avoid this sort of thing. They indicated they could not cut tile. They tried to remove two of the tile, but one cracked in the process so they stopped. We decided to trim the tile in place. I have a Dremel with a diamond cutting wheel, so I said I would do it. They gave me a pencil mark where they believed the counter ended and I trimmed to that line. Unfortunately the counter wasn't actually too long (the template guy was right in the first place). They had neglected to tuck the counter under the tile on the opposite side. When they did we had a substantial gap between the counter and the (now trimmed) tile. Unfortunately I don't have "extra" tile as the bathroom is 50 years old. I had a simple solution. If I could get a 3 3/4" x 21 1/4" side splash for the opposite side I could remove those tiles and use them to replace the ones cut in error. I would do all the work myself. All I needed was the side splash. On 4/12/21 I emailed my contact at Rock Solid Surfaces, explained the situation and requested the side splash. After near $4,000 what I'm asking for is literally a piece of scrap from their next job using what I am told is the most popular solid surface laminate they have. After 4 days of no reply I sent a 2ndemail asking for a reply. Still not even the courtesy of a reply. Very disappointing.

I will preface that this is the third time this has happened... I went to pick up lumber today for a project at home. Not a single lumber cart was in the store. An employee saw that I was obviously searching for something, and kudos to them for asking if I needed something. When I said "a lumber cart" I was told, "they're all out in the parking lot. You'll have to go out and get one." My response was if I have to go out to the parking lot I'm going to Home Depot. I did just that. And guess what, orange carts inside the store, for as far as the eye could see. Home Depot is where it's at!

I have a complaint about the Hermitage, Pa LOWES, I visited on August 4th. While walking through the indoor plant section I was pricked on my foot by a sago palm. I was minding my own business walking through the aisle but because the plants weren't pushed back enough on the shelf the palm leaves were hanging into the aisle and got my foot. These palms leaves are sharp and needle-like not to mention very poisonous and gave me a really bad reaction. I woke up the next morning vomiting, my foot was on fire and the inflammation was so severe I couldn't put any weight on my leg. From what I read online this was actually a mild reaction, most people pricked by these palms end up hospitalized. These sago palms are poisonous and cause liver damage and neurological issues. So I am writing to let you know all of this could have been avoided had you put the sago palms on the shelf properly. It has been 4 days and I am still in pain because of your laziness. To a avoid a lawsuit in the future I would consider taking this quite seriously.

Terrible customer service. Every single time I go I regret it. No one ever asks if I need help finding something or loading something in my car. Go to Home Depot across the street. Way better customer service.

This is a typical Lowe's, they have a decent selection, the customers service is nice enough. The only real stand out is their garden department but that is hit or miss. The seasonal selection tends to be in the limited side.

Great store with a very friendly and helpful staff that will walk you to what you are looking for. Don't pay attention to the morons and their 1 star reviews. I am sure they are miserable old people that want their **** sucked.

I was just in the Hermitage Lowe`s store getting some tomatoes plants and I couldn`t get a military discount because I was not sign up at this store. I have a military ID card. I can get on a military base with this card but I cannot get a discount on tomatoes. I WILL NOT shop at this store ever again.

Terrible customer service. Not one staff member asked me if I needed anything. I had to go to front of store for help and still no one showed up

I have been looking for hardwood flooring, and found an unbelievable offer on the website. Unfortunately, while it was available in all surrounding stores, the price was only good for the Hermitage location - and they listed it as unavailable for pickup or delivery. I emailed to ask if this product would ever be available at this price, and their response was that the manager had the discretion to price returned or clearance items at whatever price they wanted, so no, it would not generally be available at the advertised price. I get it, if it's too good to be true, it probably is. So I checked again a few days later, and yep, the price went up - by one cent. Still an unbelievably good deal, and still unavailable. If you're going to advertise a price, honor it.

I like this Lowe's in general, but they sell expired batteries. They assume that they are flying off the shelf - not so for the uncommon ones they carry. Falls on the customer to check it out. Not the best.

this lowes is near my home but I will go to home depot from now on. on two different occasions I got on line to be sure that this store stocked what I needed . brought the printouts showing the items ( patio chairs ) seven sets in store and three sets of a tool ( ocilliating ). on both occasions this store had ZERO items in stock. store help is spotty at best, twenty registers but only two people working them. would give this store no star if I could!

GO ANYWHERE BUT THIS STORE!!! put 1 star here because i can't write anything without marking the star. i have had the same experiences as bryan and chris t. these people could care less about their job or your satisfaction or service. i have been in other lowes stores and while not fantastic, they put this one to shame. i will go VERY FAR out of my way to not buy anything here. had a complaint and called the customer service number. they told me a manager would call me back in 24 hrs. 4 DAYS later i got a call, and agreed to meet the manager there the following day. when i made the trip there again he was off, although he said he would be there till 5. management doesn't even know what days they are supposed to work.
