I honestly can't believe that this Bank did a data system upgrade on the first of a month (closing the offices and not able to access online banking)and here we are the second of the month still unable to access the account balance or see transactions done I just called and was told that it should be completed hopefully by tomorrow tomorrow is Friday and guess what it's a holiday weekend cause Monday is Labor Day never heard of a bank closing during the week because they're upgrading their system absolutely terrible

Worst bank I have ever dealt with!! Can't even get a balance on your account without going the whole way to the branch and using a debit card! Number on debit card doesn't even go to bank to get you a balance and you cant even deposit money through the atm after hours!!!! Closed my account after 2 months!!!!

I am newer to Pennstar, but I have to say, I could definitely tell that they had my best interest in mind! Being new to the area, I was looking for a financial institution with a nice and knowledgeable staff, and Pennstar definitely goes above and beyond! They made my car buying experience so easy and were my partners in looking for a new vehicle and worked with me through the whole process! Any time I need another loan, I will absolutely be going to them! They always have quick and pleasant service there, and I highly recommend it!

The staff is always incredibly friendly and has always made me feel welcome. They are up to date with all the latest technologies making my bank experience that much easier. I would definitely recommend!

Beware people. During these trying times pennstar decided to use predatory, discrimatory, and deceiving means to hurt struggling families. I have already filed a complaint to a regulatory federal body.

I have multiple accounts with Pennstar including a savings account (known as share account for credit unions), my car loan (was by far the best rate I could find), and a Holiday Account (helps me save for the holiday season - plus a high yield!) My fiancee and I also have a joint checking account to save for our wedding. Because we are out of town, we use the online banking system. They have a new App "Pennstar FCU" that has a pretty nice user interface - available in the App/Google play store. The staff is able to help us over the phone if we have ever have any issues.

I have been a member of Pennstar for almost 30 years. I have always had positive experiences with the CEO and all of the staff. There is always a warm, friendly and professional atmosphere and I am always treated with respect, professionalism and courtesy. I have multiple accounts and have had many loans there. Their rates are competitive and their fees minimal. The service is efficient and expedient, I never wait in long lines as you may at other financial institutions. I represent 290 employees and I always encourage them to join Pennstar. Thank you Pennstar for your impeccable service.

This place is truly a gem! In addition to competitive rates, the staff is always so pleasant and helpful. Although running errands isn't my favorite activity, I always enjoy stopping into Pennstar. After a complication with the manager, I will never have an account here. Something is fishy. I will stick with my current, great credit union, who treats me with the utmost respect and is very helpful.

I tried opening a business account today and was told they don't offer business accounts? What credit union doesn't offer business services? They said “We only offer individual member services� What about individual members who want to open a business account? *** crickets ***. Needless to say I walked out empty handed. I have never seen a bank or credit union outright decline a business account. Thats a huge loss of potential revenue which I will happily take elsewhere!

PennStar is a great financial institution for many reasons. I have children and whenever they come in with me, they can entertain themselves quietly at the children tables while I conduct my business. The credit union also offers child saving accounts to show your children the benefits of saving!
