I booked this room for a trip with my partner and son. We checked in with Nate the office manager, grabbed our bags and went to our room. Immediately, after walking into our room, we received a knock on the door and it was maintenance asking to fix something in the closet. He said that he didn’t realize anyone was checked into this room and he would come back after we check out. 25 minutes after that Nate keyed into our room. There was no knock or anything just walked right in and I was not dressed. There was no apology or anything. I said “excuse me!”
My partner went down to talk to the front desk and the general manager was there. He apologized profusely. We appreciated that.
After returning from Hershey Chocolate World we asked the front desk if they could move our room so we could feel a little less on edge and the wonderful Katelyn was looking at a sheet as to where to move us. Someone from housekeeping was there and was clearly asking if she could clean a room for guests. The lady from housekeeping said to her. “Do you know how long that is going to take me to clean? Over an hour!” That was my final straw and when we went back to our room and Kaitlin called me to tell me that there were no rooms available. We made the decision to leave Marriott and go to a competitor hotel. I’ve never been so disappointed with Marriott until this trip.
After receiving a call from the general manager‘s boss, it just seemed that all he wanted to do was match up the stories and make sure they aligned. He did offer bonus points, which I appreciate and will give Marriott another try. It just seemed that my feeling violated when a manager walked into a hotel room without knocking doesn’t really matter.
If you want to go to a hotel and feel safe, do not stay at this one

Our go to place if we don't stay at the Hershey Lodge. A really good complimentary hot and cold breakfast. The rooms are spacious (we have a family of 5) and super clean. Shout out to Carrie W. from housekeeping and Adrian at the front desk... you are our heroes! ❤️💯

Perfect location, clean and quiet. You can visit all attractions within 2miles, return to a quiet hotel off the beaten path. CVS within walking distance for anything you forgot, snacks, drinks, etc.

Recently stayed here since while I was visiting Hershey Park (which is located close to the park). Customer service front desk rep was nice. Although made an error when writing down the incorrect room #. which resulted in my room key not working. He apologized and accidents happen. When I walked into the room, it had a smell from the ac unit of mold. The bathroom was disgusting with someone’s hair in all over the tub & towels. The floor did not appear vacuumed. Fortunately, I stayed one night. I would never return nor recommend the hotel to anyone. There is a hotel Hilton Tru Hershey across the street which is worth booking early. I initially tried to get a room there. However, that hotel was booked.

We stayed one night here and it was a solid stay - no complaints, the room was clean and the amenities were good. The breakfast was pretty average but the staff was very accomodating and welcoming. If I had one suggestion it'd have to be a bit of room updating as it feels like a late 2000s 2010s hotel. Elsewise I recommend if you are visiting the Hershey area.

Extremely well kept. Very pleasant staff at the desk and the ladies attending the breakfast bar were personable and helpful. For me, I was surprised that they had real bacon, and it appeared cooked versus microwaved. It's me, I like bacon crispy, and it was.

The hotel looks nice and clean. Although, the sound proof is bad. We tolerated it because it wasn't happening often, but you can definitely hear the walking above you, next to you and it sounds like large critters in an attic. This was at 2 am. Even when you check in, you hear the heavy walking above the ceiling. Also, if your room is by the ice maker, its loud also.
Would i stay here again....probably not.

We have stayed at many Fairfield Inns and this was one of the best! We were warmly welcomed at check-in and our room was clean and fairly sound proof. The breakfast buffet was outstanding with ample waffle stations, fluffy scrambled eggs and delicious oatmeal plus many special toppings. The location just on the edge of the tourist area allowed us to easily walk to many good restaurants. This hotel sets a high bar but is a great example for others to follow.
