About Hershey Trolley Works
Hershey Trolley Works offers informative and entertaining trolley tours. Guests can choose between a roughly hour-long historical tour and a 45-minute show ride. The historical tour is very informative and educational, providing a greater understanding and appreciation of founder Milton Hershey, who was an incredible philanthropist. His legacy lives on in his charitable institutions and educational facilities. The tour passes the Hershey Mansion, farmhouse, schools, and factories. It is entertaining for all ages and provides a lot of interesting facts about the area beyond Chocolate World and Hersheypark. The alternative is a fun show ride with singing, Christmas carols, great stories, and laughter. The tour guides and actors are passionate, making it feel like a live theater show. The tours are a wonderful event and a hidden gem, highly recommended by guests. The crew provides exceptional customer service, working to ensure trips run safely and without issues. Some guests note that trolleys are advertised as climate-controlled but can sometimes be cold, requiring coats, and noise can occasionally make the guide difficult to hear. Overall, it is a great decision for a fun and informative experience.

We did the “historical tour” that takes roughly an hour and change. Very informative and entertaining for all ages. You get to see - Hershey Mansion, Farmhouse, schools, factories and more. All while in a climate controlled trolley bus.

An interesting tour around Hershey with a history lesson on the tour....Two different types of trolley tour- 1 historical and 1 comical. We were on both at different times of year and enjoyed them. Christmas is a special time to take the evening tour with all the Christmas lights.
