Walked in today and I was the only customer. 5 sales associates were hanging out either looking at phones or chatting. None said hello. None asked if I needed help. I did purchase a bag.

I feel compelled to share my encounter with the hope of raising awareness about the issue of racial profiling in retail establishments.
During my recent visit to Kate Spade (Sunday, July 14, 2024), I was subjected to the deeply unsettling experience of being racially profiled. From the moment I entered the store, I noticed a female salesperson who seemed to be closely monitoring my every move. Despite my purposeful intent to make a purchase, I was met with suspicion and hostility.
It is disheartening to witness such blatant discrimination, as it goes against the values of equality and respect that should be upheld by any reputable brand. It is even more disconcerting to learn that this behavior is not consistent across all Kate Spade stores, as I have personally experienced the professionalism and warmth of the saleswomen at the King of Prussia location.
Despite the unwarranted scrutiny and discomfort I endured, I made the conscious decision to proceed with my intended purchase, spending close to $300. However, it is crucial for Kate Spade to acknowledge and address this issue promptly. No customer should have to endure racial profiling, and it is imperative for businesses to foster an environment that is inclusive and free from discrimination.
I sincerely hope that my experience serves as a wake-up call to the management of Kate Spade at Tanger Outlets in Hershey, PA.

Tried the store for my birthday Kate Spade was the only purse store that actually acknowledged that I was in the store. Hannah was absolutely amazing!!! Her assistance with buying myself a purse for my birthday was amazing!!! I will definitely be back to buy a new wallet just because of her. She deserves a promotion
