Despite the frustration expressed below, I would recommend HTC in Burgerstown. Obviously I am a stickler on customer service. Blue Devil's reviews are horrible and forget Verizon.I have had their internet service for several years. Most of the time it is reliable. But in the last 5 days I have had 3 significant disruptions. (Thursday night 9/21, Friday 9/22, and Monday 9/25/23) I have had other interruptions where I assumed it was my equipment and rebooted their modem and my router repeatedly without calling. I advise that, if you subscribe to their service and your internet goes down, call them immediately. Establish whether or not it is your equipment. Over the last 3 weeks or so streaming video has been buffering. As I have stated, I have had their service for years. When I was talking to the technical support person on 9/21, I mentioned that my video had been buffering. He stated that they had been having the problem for a few weeks. That is the exact time frame during which I have been having buffering issues. When I called in to complain about today's outage, I mentioned this to the representative I spoke with, he flatly denied this problem was on their end. I had not mentioned for how long I had been experiencing the buffering issue to tech support. So I don't find his denial of that problem credble. Also during today's call I mentioned that some sort of credit to my account seemed to be a reasonable accomodation. After all, I have them set up for auto pay. They get compensated every month on time without fail. The man then began to interrogate me on dates of outages and their duration. All I was looking for was maybe a five dollar credit for the aggravation and inconvenience. He did agree to credit me for two days. (He acknowledged outages on Friday and today. In fact their was either one long outage from Thursday night into Friday or two separate interuptions.) So I also advise you note dates, times, and duration of any outages in case you are quizzedBut my main reason for taking the time to write this lengthy review is the simple lack of an apology. If you read the responses to the recent 1 and 2 star reviews, you will notice the absence of an apology. Had my conversation today or the responses to the negative reviews led off with any words of contrition, than I would see the reply to The Real AAron as a good faith explanation. Today it also wasn't their fault. This time it wasn't "insects, animals, and shotgun damage" as The Real Aaron's reply mentioned, it was something at "Allegheny Center."On my job, if someone feels they weren't served well, I apologize. If the complaint is without merit, I say I am sorry they feel that way. If it is another department, I apologize on behalf of the company. It lets them know they are valued. Most of the time the apology itself defuses the whole situation. I often go on to give an explanation. When preceded by an apology, a list of circumstances seem like an explanation. In the absence of an apology, it seems like excuses from someone who doesn't value customers.I am sure it is very challenging to maintain service at times. But how hard is it to simply apologize when "ant excrement" or the folks at Allegheny Center cause my Internet to go down?I hadn't checked my email before posting this review. I feel the feedback in this review was fair and constructive. I had been getting busy signal at their phone so I used the contact feature to express my continuing frustration. (I had a deadline to meet that required internet access The service was out for 8 hours.) I gave the phone number for Blue Devil Cable and threatened to switch. Speeds way slower than advertised or what speed test shows. Out minimum 3 times a month. You call and there's always some "outage" but no evidence of that whatsoever and they always blame the weather. The weather isn't making the internet take over an hour to download a 6gb application

You will never have speeds anywhere near what you pay for. The internet is down at least once a week and when you call to report it, you will be on hold until you just give up. If you can get internet anywhere else I strongly recommend it.Got contacted about this comment in under a week which is less than half as long as it takes to get a response about repairs. Please exhaust all options before using this company. It really is just Shameless.

I just called them in a panic because the storm had taken out my internet. They were here within 30 minutes and replaced everything that had gotten damaged.

The wifi is fast and works great! Neil and zach were both very friendly and courteous. They delivered fast and efficient service. Zach explained the router and set it up for me. Neil went over pricing and made sure i understood everything before signing. HTC made it easy to get great internet in a rural area that no other company services except satellite. I would recommend them to anyone! :)

Where I get my phone, tv, and internet from. Hard to get service on weekends on occasion but all together very good service for the price.
