“About 40 years ago I remember going there as a 6-7 year old child and there had to be at least a 1/2 dozen or so butchers working in there every time my mother would take me.the convever on the ceiling with the hooks attached to it had sides of pork hanging from it, Everybody working there kept busy processing the pork and the line was usually out the door.Everything was and still is as fresh as you can get. in my 40+ years of life I have Never had Fresher tasting pork anywhere but Hains Pork Shop 40 years later I still go there I'm Never disappointed, That's proly why they've been operating for over 150 years.If you enjoy eating fresh Pork and you haven't been there your missing out on a Land mark Butcher Shop”
“Stopped by Termani's on the way home and happened to see that Lombardi's was still open. Picked up 3lbs of hot sausage and asked if they had a plate of Beef Ribs. They brought out an amazing rack of beef ribs that we smoked today. They were incredible. This is a must go to butcher shop5 Stars!”
“I felt not welcoming to the store , no smiles on faces either butcher or cashier and Butcher refused to cut the meat the sizes I asked .They have to learn more customer service for sure ?”
“Yellow Front is very clean environment.The meats are fresh the store is always stocked up on all the groceries u need.The brothers that run the market does a good job welcoming customers on the daily bases.I recommend you to shop at yellow front if u haven’t to get the full experience!!!”

“A true down home experience. Country roots always return Jefferson city missouri and Macon georgia to be exact. They have smoked meats game and other varieties. The butcher shop has been a big part of my childhood. Dave's meat market is a true gem in the city of philadelphia grab your cast iron and music get ready to cook with love .”

“Excellent selection of meats that I was not able to find anywhere else in the Philadelphia region. The store is clean bright. Everything is nicely labeled and organized. Staff was super pleasant. Efficient and quick prices are incredible. It's a shame I have not visited the store earlier. I always drove by instead of coming in until I came across the website and I was searching for a specific means that we are not available anywhere else, including Whole Foods. They have a whole rabbit they have piglets, they have duck smoked duck whole duck, wings. The prices are hard to believe 1/3 of what you would pay at Whole Foods or other supermarkets. Go visit buy online, pick it up or have it delivered to you. You won't regret it.”

“I just purchased this brand for the first time and was very impressed. I didn't go to their store but bought it at another retailer. I tried the hot Italian sausage and it clearly is quality meat. “I come here for the bakery! it's my best find yet! I do not like cake, but I swear these cakes are different! I ran over the other day to grab a mini cake for my bff birthday. I got the vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream and they offered to write something on it. I was in and out within 15 minutes! the price point for quality is unbeatable. I adore this little shop.”

“One of the women who works here remembers my name. You get a number and wait for someone to call your number. I recommend getting the chicken salad and homemade potato salad here.When my grandfather was alive, I bought hoagies here. He always liked Italian hoagies (with no oregano). I would call and pre-order the hoagie and then pick it up. Excellent customer service and great prices!”
“Lancaster Meat Market has the leanest cuts of meat that I've seen in Philly! They do fish, chicken, lamb - everything. And they have a full set of grocery shelves with condiments, sauces, spices - as well as a big freezer. You can get everything for a family barbecue or company picnic.They have 16 meat combo deals, and a bunch of Deli deals and even a breakfast special. Most important: nice people, too!”
