I was so excited to come to visit my brother and sister in law here in PA. Of course I loved your store and the floor employees were great. Ran I wen back home I looked in my bad to find two pieces of clothing ( the two pieces I desperately wanted) not to be in the bag. I looked at the receipt and the Tan man’s suit jacket wasn’t on it, but where did it go?? Then I had a nice black and white Womens vintage Oscar de la renta dress and it was in my receipt but not in my bag. It it behind the register or was it put back onto the racks ? I live out of state and would like to know and have a resolution with this. I was there around 10:30 am-12pm on Saturday 2 /24/24. Please let me know if you find it. The man’s Jacket Suit was either Oscar and or another Italian designer. Please. I will keep my eyes posted on your posts. Very sad.Regards,Sharon

Whoever does the pricing here is out of their mind. New clothing is cheaper. They don't care if something is dirty, stained and has holes, they'll charge more than it originally cost. They need to learn what clothes are from Amazon and SheIn, that pyrex bowls are only kinda valuable if they're not cracked and scratched, that stuff from TJ Maxx, Macy's, Burlington etc are not designer clothes. The cashier and other employees are clueless too. No wonder everyone steals from this store. Fire whoever does pricing.

Excellent Salvation Army located in Honesdale PA! Would like to notably mention Manager Linda and Associate Bob for their kindness and understanding in accepting my donations of household goods and clothing. They are very dedicated to the cause of the Salvation Army and work diligently for the Northeast Pennsylvania community. I am grateful to them both for their help and assistance.

Please fix your scheduled hours and it would be cool if you would consider adding air fresheners or something :)

I always find a great selection of pieces here, however sometimes the prices are ridiculous. If they know the retail value of something they resell to make a heavy profit - which is understandable in some cases. However condition and cleanliness of items should be evaluated better when pricing. Also garments that are not tagged will not be sold to you, so if you love something but see no tag, don't even bother. They are not willing to price it for you, I assume they think any missing tag is a fault of the customer - not employees. Tags are also stapled to clothing, not at seams, which can be very damaging to some pieces. Buyer beware, look closely before spending your money. The store is very clean & organized. Majority of the staff is helpful, although some long term employees cannot be bothered to give you a smile, personal space on the floor, or assistance of any kind. If there was another local thrift of this size I would probably skip this Salvation Army.

Wasn't bad but they need to figure out a different system for cashiers I was in the other day and had to wait in line for 15 almost 20 minutes due to every cashier went on lunch break all at the same time. All but one and she was doing her best to keep up but it just wasn't enough. She had excellent customer service and did amazing even tho she was the only one working the counter. She will be the reason I come back and recommend people. Her name was Jessica ?

Good prices and friendly employees. Items with certain tags are half off and some items with a specific tag are only 99-cents. The shelves with housewares and random knickknacks didn’t have much to offer. Some thrift stores sort by size but everything in this store (clothes/random items) were sorted by color. I prefer the sizing sort because I’m not spending my time looking at hundreds of labels to see if the item is my size.Another shopper in the same clothing aisle as me summed up my feeling when he said “They don’t have much today.”

Pulled up looking to donate, several ceiling lights, George Forman grill, ect, pretty sure they threw it all out. Which was so surprising since the stores shelves are all HALF EMPTY. The isles are super wide you can hear an echo. And yet they were just dumping perfectly usable items. I saved a crate of mugs and a skateboard, the men throwing them out said they have enough for all of honesdale. NOT TRUE. I looked and all they have is antique like items and not daily useable dishes and mugs. I run an Airbnb and we go through several sets of wine glasses and mugs a year, I was hoping not to buy new, but to get it all here. Extremely disappointed. They need new management and coaching on how to sell and what to sell. Salivation army in the city has three times the amount of stuff in a quarter of the space. You never see half empty shelves at target. The did have a huge storage room full of items, just sitting there. Hardly any furniture or toys out on the floor, smallest saddest sections only.
