We have nothing but praise for HNB, customers since the 1980s. They are kind, efficient, give good advice and some employees have really gone out of their way to make things happen while we are traveling. During this current USA banking upheaval, we simply wait and trust HNB to have done and to do the right thing. Time for customer's support!

I will say every time I visit the Hamlin Branch I have a positive experience. Great staff always so pleasant. Also when I call on the phone a great experience. My only complaint is the online experience through the banks website. It's just not all that user friendly, feels very antiquated. The interface and tabs should be streamlined and modernized. So just one recommendation for improvement to an otherwise stellar bank.

Our recent loan application and approval process was handled in an outstanding, courteous and rapid process by Mr. Fritz of the Honesdale National Bank Loan Dept. We have been doing business with HNB for almost 30 years! A+++ Service in many departments!

Excellent credit score and made a hard time of a loan...we are sticking with dime bank....one call and we got the fixed rated that was wanted...HNB stinks!

Awesome bank! The HNB team really pulled together for my boyfriend and I to get a mortgage on our dream home. We experienced fantastic customer service, way above and beyond, and we could not be happier. The team was prompt, friendly, supportive, organized, and supremely patient with the questions of first time homebuyers and the anxiety that goes along with the process. They made buying our first home a fabulous, smooth experience from the first introduction to closing. Thank you Alyssa, and HNB team!

Do not do business with this Bank Specifically Randy Donovan. He makes promises he can’t deliver on! Don’t even know the laws in his profession and just make excuse after excuse. He is a liar and I advise you not to do business with this man!!!

Always a pleasure to deal with this bank. Dealing with large multinational banks (not HNB) is a complete aggravation. I have to go through 10 VM prompts only to be put on hold before a person actually gets on the phone. And after all that it's usually a call center person who is unhelpful anyway. And there are layers and layers of departments and red tape to contend with. And if I go onto the branch in person I have to wait in a long line. But it is not like this at all at HNB. At HNB a person answers the phone and I am quickly routed to someone who is right in Honesdale and who quickly provides whatever help I need. And I never have to wait in a long line at the bank when I go there. I hate banking anywhere else besides HNB. Keep up the fabulous customer service, HNB!

Terrible people, who do not know how to do their jobs. We were miss lead by the supposed mortgage lender the entire time of trying to obtain a loan for our dream home and then when we were sent to the manager about it because they did not understand how to do their job we were ghosted by the manager with no explanation as to why.
