Everything is extremely overpriced and the employees seem bothered by customers. Id rather drive twice the distance than to pay these outrageous prices. The least they can do is be nice.

I had a great experience with Eby's Martindale recently. On short notice, I needed catering help for a funeral service. Even though the event was only days away and during the holiday crush, Jodie was pleasant, professional and very helpful and found a way to fit it in their already full schedule. She put together a great menu, provided set-up and tear-down and ensured all the details were covered. The food was perfect - the amount, quality and cost. Thanks so much, pleasant experience with the store and Jodie.

I will walk down to this store to pick up a few items if I forget something at another grocery store. However, this will no longer happen. My husband went to pick up sponges, came home and decided to go back to pick up fried chicken for dinner. He came home empty handed, and EXTREMELY disappointed in how he was treated. The lady behind the counter was so rude- she gave him such an attitude, like he was bothering her when asking about the chicken. She told him there was no chicken for sale, everything was reserved except for 1 chicken patty. And the tone in which she talked to him was completely disrespectful. If said chicken was already spoken for, then put up a sign. Giving customers an attitude and making them feel like they did something wrong…that's just not acceptable, especially in a customer service environment. So we will no longer be shopping here and if you decide to- be aware that some of the staff will make you feel like you are in the wrong for asking a question or wanting to order something from the deli.

I like it for when you need something quick and I like my lunchmeat from there .. But today I spoke with the owner about one person who works in the delie dept. whom is never pleasant what so ever and is just down right miserable with the customers . The owner replied that if I can find someone for him to replace her then he will.. I even told him she sliced my cheese one time along with the plastic wrapper, so I had plastic sliced up in my cheese..which I returned of course..But he didn't offer any apology. So hopefully they can find more help.
