I would like to start my review by stating that I have NEVER left a bad review. I work in customer service, and I know how challenging it can be.I went to the Mae St. location on 1-8-24. I wanted to upgrade my phone and I was greeted immediately. The staff helped me pick out a new phone and answered all my questions. We started transferring my info from one phone to the next. The transfer time was over two hours. I completely understand that is out of anyone’s control (I had tons of stuff on my phone). While we waited for the transfer the staff told me about other products they offered. I decided to order two apple watches. They even checked to see if I could add home Wi-Fi. The total time I spent in the store was close to four hours, but I left a happy camper! I was excited about my new phone and the new watches that were on the way.If I were to review my interactions on 1-8-24 it would be 5+++ stars. They two men multitasked seamlessly. The manager stayed busy even when he had down time. He was even washing the windows!!!! From a business standpoint they nailed it. They were kind, knowledgeable and explained all the products the store had to offer.On 1-11-24 I went to pick up my watches. I was greeted immediately but after that it all went downhill. At the time I was the only customer.I explained to my associate I was in a hurry. I let him know one of the watches were for my father with dementia. I had to bring his phone in with me and I didn't want him to be without a phone for a long period of time.My associate was complaining about the ten minutes he had to wait for the safe to open. He was also talking about other employees who keep the safe open for hours at a time.I had my old phone with me that I was told I could turn in. He told me it needed to be charged to turn it in. I was baffled!!!! We were sitting in an AT&T store. He then huffed and put it on the charger.He brought out my new watches. I told him how excited I was. I explained that one of the watches were for my father and it would give me piece of mind bc I would be able to get his vitals sent to my phone. He told me he was unsure if the watch was able to do that. Fortunately, another employee told me she could help me get that info on my phone.He tried to set up my first watch and was having trouble. He had called someone and then did an update on the two phones that were going to be connected to the new watches. The update took about twenty minutes. The update was done, and the first watch connected quickly. I just needed to get the second watch connected and a lesson on how to use them, lol.I tried on the watch that was successfully connected. The band was way to big! It looked so funny on my small wrist; it was as small as it could go. He told he couldn’t do anything about that even after I asked him if I could order a new band. He directed me to amazon.Before he started getting my second watch together someone walked in the store. He quit working with me a sat down at another table to help them. I tried to tell him again that I was in a hurry and that my father who has major issues was home without a phone. He continued to help the customer he was with. I must add the way he was speaking to that customer was extremely unprofessional. I wouldn’t be surprised if he is the next one to leave a bad review.I dislike leaving such a negative review, but this young man needs some training and should not be in the store with out proper supervision. I felt more like a burden than a customer. I would think after getting three new devices I would be able to get them set up with out being put on the back burner. I feel like he didn’t want to help me the moment he found out why I came in.

I came into the store to pay a bill and I was asked to provided my driver's license to scan just so I can pay my bill... That is extremely disturbing considering I was not asked any security details on the account... You are asking for my private personal information... I will seriously consider changing companies

We upgraded our phones in Jan 2021 with the manager at the time. He added 2 lines and 2 phones to our account that we did not agree to or ever have. Since we have autopay I didn’t notice the extra lines until 22 months later when I was checking my to look into upgrading. I understand that’s my fault. That particular manager is no longer with them. My major issue is with the current team. I have been into the store multiple times, have been sent to the regional store in Harrisburg to be told they can’t do anything and have to go back to the Hummelstown/Hershey store. It’s now been over 3 months of me calling and being told my call will be returned which is still not happened. The current manager is always ‘not there’ or ‘in a meeting/on a call’. When the call is answered it’s redirected to someone not even in the store. I tried to use the online service to set up a 1 on 1 meeting and that store isn’t even listed. I have been a customer with AT&T for 17 years and have never had this awful of treatment. The customer service has been terrible and I would definitely avoid this location.

Kerry was very knowledgeable and helpful during my initial consultation and returned my phone call the same day. I ended up dealing with Chandler Gibson for the actual upgrade on 2 phones. He was the only employee in the store and pressure was mounting as more and more customers came in. Chandler was calm, courteous, and handled the pressure well. He was excellent at multi-tasking and helping several customers at once. He was very knowledgeable about the products and how they work.

Keri was so helpful for my husbands frustrating situation with his phone suddenly not working. He directed us to the right place when he was unable to get us a new phone. Got a new phone that night at a different AT&T store. Kind and knowledgeable.

I had switched to ATT a few months back and things were going fine, UNTIL I let the ATT morons in Hummelstown touch my account. I tried to add a line for a family member, but instead they sold my family member on a new account which they weren't even eligible for, and have been dealing with the outcome for literal months. My mother had to go to the ATT store, repeatedly, to try to add her phone to my att plan. (I'll mention that the staff were mildly rude at best, and didn't even make an effort to acknowledge when a new customer walked in the door). On one occasion the employee didn't know how to add someone to an existing plan, so she had to go home and try again another day. Finally, one day, there was an employee who knew how to use a computer, sort of. Instead of joining my plan, she left with a totally different plan, which she wasn't even eligible for. So, a few days later, back to the ATT store to try to get it sorted. They were able to add her phone line back to my account, but the billing and account was put in her name, not mine - despite me being the original account creator/owner/primary. For months now, I have been trying to get the account corrected, but whatever they did in Hummelstown was so incredibly stupid and backwards that even the ATT "expert managers" online are unable to fix it. I have wasted literally days worth of hours trying to get things fixed, all because of ATT Hummelstown. ATT is good, but please go literally anywhere else to have anything done with your phone or internet. It may seem like a simple operation, but I wouldn't trust them to mop a floor, let alone a phone case.
