We had a Safeware extended warranty plan for my son's computer. Unfortunately it could not be fixed. Safeware reimbursed us for the computer. Well worth the extra money for the extended warranty. I highly recommend getting one.

They work really fast to help you solve a claim. My charger nearly ruined my laptop and they got me a new one within 3 days. 10/10 would recommend.
