I love this Aldi. I'm a weekly shopper the store is always clean shelves always stocked the workers are all wonderful. I like like the self check outs. I'm thankful they put Aldi in huntingdon.

Did a grocery pick up at Aldi's for the first time 2 days ago. The prices were lower than Walmart, the quality of the groceries I purchased were outstanding. However my groceries were not well packed. For example eggs on the bottom, milk and yogurt thrown on top of them. Chemicals in with my food. I am also worried that I do not see enough people shopping in our Huntington store. And I do feel bad for the people who work there they do not have enough help. I don't think I'll do grocery pick-up again. It was a $1.99, plus 12 cents for each bag. I am also not fond of self-checkout. Come on everybody let's raise up our Aldi's! Maybe if we shop there more they'll get more help.

I love Aldi and have shopped Aldi's in various cities for many years. I was disappointed, however, at the lack of customers on my last trip to Huntingdon store. So few customers makes me worry that the store will not survive. My unofficial survey of friends tells me that the self-check out is one reason people are avoiding the store. As many stores are rethinking the forced self-check, I hope Aldi is considering it as well. I would hate to lose our long awaited Aldi store.

Aldi running a bare bomes crew is really lame for the workers running around like hot potatoes but the store is amazing and clean and well stocked!! The employees are doing a great job!!

Aldi’s cost-cutting measures, such as employing fewer staff, requiring customers to rent carts and bring their own bags, using shelf-ready packaging, offering private-label brands, and maintaining a minimalist store layout, are designed to pass savings on to the customer. I feel a store offering affordable groceries in an economically challenged town will do well. However, these cost-cutting measures also create a unique shopping experience that may not appeal to all consumers.
