After year this bank seemed to get many issues fixed after merger . Tellers are polite and professional.

To many issues since it became mid Penn. A lot of policy changes. Make sure you read any papers you get in the mail thoroughly from them because apparently I didn't. But I do use online banking all the time and I have never received any messages or notifications about the policy changes. Sadly I will be closing my accounts and banking elsewhere.

Worst bank I've ever dealt with in 25 years. Closed all accounts after banking with Clearfield for 18 years. Mid Penn Bank took over for Clearfield and absolutely nothing but issues.

This is one of the worest banks ever..the closed my sister's savings account and sent it to another bank Williamsburg without permission or any kind of notifications..she never received mail or an atm card. They lied along with penn crest and tried to tell me the account was opened in Williamsburg..this is only one example of the shady things they do..do not do not bank with them..go to kish bank ..they are honest and treat you good..no mid penn you took her money without permission..she has never lived in Williamsburg or anywhere near there.my sister is disabled and cant drive..nor can she hold a checking account and she can not obtain a credit card..she lives at my address ..that account was opened in huntingdon pa..look at your records..you lie..you deceive....she never got an atm card..i have been banking in huntingdon since it was first commonwealth then Clearfield, riverviwe and now mid penn..that account was also in my name with my address..never have i heard of any bank who does this without consent..nice try mid penn but you are totally in the wrong..now i have to open her an account at kish...a real bank who don't screw people over...

Son deposited 2 checks into his checking account. They deposited in wrong account and then told us there was nothing they could do because he didn't have the receipt. Have to get copies of the checks now to figure everything out.

I recently closed my account and would suggest others to do the same! Although I am an imperfect being I accept responsibility for when I mess up and pay a lot of money when I overdraft. This happened once at this bank and I made a deposit before the required time frame and they shut my off card anyway and seek to punish you for their own incompetence! The person in security needs to be fired immediately! Do not put money in this bank and if you have an account here close it! And it’s such a shame as my wife had intended to switch all of our banking here and I had planned to open a business account as well. Since I’m new this area as home improvement contractor and business takes time to build I’ve had issues with banks before but never like this!

Had two interactions with MidPenn today. One with Samantha (classic study of authoritarianism) and and one with Zuleima (epic study in mutual respect and logic).Zuleima. convinced me that protective measures prevented me from being conned. She was very respectful and very rational, in contrast to Samantha.Actually restores much of my faith in humanity to speak with Zuleima. ; and scuttled my plan to change banks.

Nobody answers the phone, nobody calls back, nobody does what you ask from them...oh and they can't count. Use to be a good bank.

I opened 2 accounts with CBT back in 2014 before they merged with Riverview Bank. When I opened the accounts, it was because I had heard they were one of the nicest most personable banks around. They were a smaller chain that cared about their account holders. I, like many other people, sometimes struggle to have enough money to pay all of my bills, and because of this, I incur bank fees sometimes. When they are my fault and i can afford it, I pay them and take the punishment. But sometimes, I ask for forgiveness. Before Riverview stepped in, this was an option. They would work with me to help me keep from going further behind and never being able to pay what I owe. Now days so much has changed. They absolutely will NOT refund a fee for any reason, even for a long term loyal customer like me who has successfully paid over 3000 dollars to them in bank fees in this 5 year period. I may as well be chopped liver now. Also, they no longer offer smaller loans without credit checks to help build credit which is the only reason I was able to build my credit in the first place. They now charge a non refundable fee (not down payment) of 100 dollars just to process a loan application. And you must have a credit score of 680 bare minimum to even have a chance at being approved. They have become nothing more than another big time greedy group of corporate ran scum and I WILL be finding another bank that cares about ME and not just my money. The only good thing I can say about them is the people at the store front level are really nice, they just can't go outside or change the policies written by the greedy corporate that runs them.
