I’ve been doing Amazon returns there for a few years now and honestly it’s been pretty great so far with nice staff but the newer girl was extremely rude to me. She was short when I asked for help. She really made driving to dubois UPS seem worth it!

We had a “completely free” return of an item via UPS. Well, if they have to add a 3-inch piece of tape to the box, then that constitutes “packaging,” and they charge extra for that. Wow! Talk about nickel and diming customers. I’ll avoid UPS whenever possible!

I went to this store today for the first time. The employees are lazy and unhelpful. The older gentleman that waited on me was very rude. This was supposed to be a non-hassle free return. He charged me 4 something for a tiny piece of tape to put on my box. I seen other customers being waited on by other staff and they was basically useless. I should have not been charged for my label either. I guess I will drive elsewhere if I need this service again. Will not return to this store.

Where to start! I shipped an iphone more than a week ago to Mexico city and due to urgency and cost of the item, asked for overnight or expedited service. Store owner Jeff did the transaction and charged $229. 54. I am not sure what was the actual charge for shipment and the extra insurance, as I bought for package. I was told that due to the weekend, shipping label will be created on Monday and the store will send the tracking info via email and the package will be most likely reach by Tuesday or Wednesday the same week but there maybe some delays due to customs which I can understand, however it was never informed that I have to pay some hidden ‘Import fees’ also on the top of what I paid. Anyways on Wednesday when I checked the tracking, it was showing estimated date of arrival by end of business on Apr 24 and it said UPS standard so I checked the receipt and it also said UPS standard on it. I called the store and there was no manger available to talk and so I went to the store and they said to come back in the morning at 8:30am when Jeff will be in the store. I went to the store next day and Jeff told, it is still expedited service but for international it shows as standard on the receipt. I called the UPS 800 # atleast 3-4 times that day and they all told me that it was a standard shipment and charged in their system as $101.13 and for any complains I should just call the store. The package journey started with label created on 15 Apr and arrived in Laredo Tx on 19 Apr for Export scan and arrived same day to Colombia Mexico for Import scan. So for 5 days it was in US. What kind of expedited service was it? Also upon tracking, I found that I had to pay an import fees of $145 (which was never told to me at the store) otherwise package will not move further for delivery. I paid the amount online and package did not depart till 22 Apr and finally arrived to the destination on Apr 23 evening. When I called the UPS customer service, they did not want to take any responsibility since this is an issue with a franchise UPS store.
Can someone give me an explanation why wrong info and amount charged to us and the urgency we wanted for this package went useless even paying and expecting for expedited service from a local store which is in business for more than 10 yrs?

Starting with other negative reviews: this store and its workers alone cannot control the way UPS distribution centers, delivery drivers, and other UPS staff handle sensitive packages. I feel like it’s 2024 and we all just expect our stuff to get broken. I don’t agree this specific store should hold the blame for broken or missing packages - but rather UPS as a whole
This store is always well staffed, especially during holidays and other busy times. They are open at reasonable hours and any line in the store moves incredibly fast. Staff are patient and kind. Makes me dread returns a lot less having this store in town
