I wouldn’t even rate one star, but I don’t know about the other stylists. My mom brought my little sister to this great clips today to get her hair cut. Background(my little sister is half white half black same as me our mom is white) so she has course curly hair. Her hairstylist name is Tonya, didn’t catch last name. She wasn’t very talkative which is ok nothing wrong with that. Hair was washed and cut. Service was fine. We pay and leave and walk to the car. Tonya follows us all the way to the car to give us a receipt and told us about a coupon on it. She then proceeds to say “oh just so you know it will cost more for curly hair clients because it takes more time.” Tell me you want to be racist when nobody can hear you without telling me. It was never on the website that it costs extra money for curly hair. And she had ample time the whole appointment to let us know it may or will be an upcharge. We went back in and speak to the manager and all we got was an apology on behalf of great clips.

I wanted to take a moment and express my appreciation for the lovely stylist who cut my toddlers hair yesterday. My son is autistic & doesn't like his head or hair being touched. I explained all of this to the stylist upon walking in & asked if she were comfortable cutting his hair. She was & she was amazing. She exuded patience and her engagement with him was very subtle & perfectly executed. He definitely freaked out during this haircut but she was so patient and kind. Safe to say Samantha gained a new client. I hope she's okay with that ; )
If your child is on the spectrum and you face trouble finding a stylist who fits their needs.... go to this location & ask for Samantha <3

Quick hair cut, was able to fit me in, and had yhe wife drop off our son so he could get his done. They were busy but still fit him in. Well worth the price. Great interaction with the smaller kids to make them feel like part of the group.m, didnt ignore the crazy stories of a 7yr old boy about nothing, yet everything to him. Thank you for the great service.

5 stars for the stylists that work there but ZERO stars for the owners of this shop.
They pay less than minimum wage to their workers forcing them to survive on tips.
If an owner is this greedy, I would suggest tipping in cash! Who knows how much of a cut they take if you tip with a card!

Took my daughter there yesterday and Haleigh cut her hair. My daughter showed her a picture and she cut it exactly how she wanted it. We were in and out in less then 45 min. Highly recommend Haleigh!!

I have taken my son to other salons in the area and he cried and I just got awkward looks. I took him to Great Clips a couple months ago and he LOVED it. They were above and beyond with working with a smaller child.
He loved it so much that we took him back today but took his sister too so she could see how much he loves it. As I was telling his hairstylist about his sister being afraid and me being afraid to cut her hair because of her curls, they asked if they could try. Of course I said yes, because I trusted these women so much. Not only did they do it but both kiddos felt like the bees knees and loved it.
When my son was giggling and saying different things the workers were all so sweet. And my daughter’s curls turned out so beautiful.
Highly highly recommend. Samantha and Teresa have done my son’s hair and Samantha did my daughters today. I absolutely will return and highly suggest this business for children. 10/10
