DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE. back in the day Ponsi was a great store and really cared about others. Now that the son took over he only cares about himself and money. It's really a shame the way they use the family business and ruin it. I highly recommend going literally anywhere else. They'll probably over charge you, delay your order, screw up and won't let you refund, won't disclose policies until after, and just be straight rude. Save your money.

I have been trying to contact this store for several weeks now. Their telephone IVR system is horrible. You can't get a live person, you can't leave a message because every mailbox is full and keeps rolling over into another one. I'm looking to buy a second chair but if I can't reach anyone, maybe I should go elsewhere.I don't want to have to drive 40 minutes one way to determine if the store is open. Maybe it's not open any longer?Anyone there?

Dropped some shoes off to get fixed and told it would be done in a couple of days. A week later I go and check to see what the hold up is and was told they will get to it. Owner doesn't know his a** from a hole in the ground and it shows. Never again!

They gave my sister free helpful advice on size and make of specialty shoes even though they knew she couldn't purchase from them as they were out her size and was out of town.

My husband got a horrible bacteria infection and had to surgically have the poison removed from his feet! Thankfully they were able to save most of his feet, however, he would need specially made shoes to walk! We went to Ponzis and have been with them for several years now! Always great courteous service from the men who do the measurements and fittings! I will never forget the first pair of shoes and watching my husband take his firsts steps. Thank you Ponzi for making that happen. He had to have some adjustments it’s a process but I highly recommend Ponzi Shoes!

Do NOT go to Ponsi Shoes. My 87 year old mother was treated horribly here. She bought and paid for two pair of shoes. One pair was not fitted properly. She was told by one of the salespersons that the shoe she bought was not being sold any longer because of all the complaints. Long story short they failed to make good on the shoes. I see by the many negative reviews on this site that the salespeople are rude to many customers.

HORRIBLE SERVICE.The stair lift was originally purchased from Ponsi and I needed to change the lift to a left side mount. So I stopped in to buy a opposing side chair frame to convert my elderly fathers chair lift to fit his house. The lady came out from the back of the store and said they wouldn’t sell me the parts.HORRIBLE SERVICE buy anywhere else

I stopped here out of desperation- my feet hurt so bad I could barely walk - they fitted me with a pair of shoes that were so far out of the range I would normally consider for a shoe but I could feel the difference immediately- cut down on my pain almost immediately- I was still having some minor issues and went to a foot doctor - I do recommend doing that first - but the service here was fantastic

They were attentive and tried to provide a good service. I was fitted for custom get orthotics because I need cushioning. These gel orthotics are made there and not a clear gel you get over-the-counter. These are heavy and large. It was a tight fit in a Brooks Glycerin size 13 width 2E. My podiatrist recommended Brooks Glycerin for added cushioning. If you order a gel orthotic, I would get fitted for a shoe there. These may not fit in all shoe brands. Ponsi has a limited selection of shoe brands - New Balance, Propet, Dr. Comfort. I personally would not opt for this kind of gel orthotic because of it's weight and size. I'm going to try somewhere else for something comforting without the cumbersome dimensions.

Disappointed in customer service! Wouldnt return a pair of brand new shoes bought a few weeks ago because we didnt have our box. My uncle was in hospital and died... cant remember where the box went. Brand new shoes... been a loyal customer for over 8 years. Buyer beware.

I would not even give them any stars. My aunt purchased shoes for my uncle in Nov 2019. He never wore the shoes because he passed away. She has been buying shoes since 2011 for him at Ponsi. They would not let us return the shoes for a refund because we didn't have the original box. They would give us a store credit which we would not need since he passed away. You couldn't find a box at the store to resale them. If the grief she is dealing with isn't enough since losing someone you were with for 54 years, but now she has to deal with this issue.

I have been with Ponsi Shoes for over 35 years. I don’t mind waiting for my turn because I Always receive personal attention for a problem or a shoe fit until I am satisfied.

My family have dealt with Ponsi's for several years not just with footwear. My dad also purchased a stairlift from them. Honest family that was around When my Grandfather had his business in Braddock years ago. I have recommended them to several of my friends

I was in Pittsburgh today took my older brother to Ponsi's. My brother can be very difficult at times due to his illness. The folks there treated him as you would want someone to treat your loved one.
