“The original exhaust on my old car broke apart and a friend recommended E&E. I gave them a call and the guys said to bring my car right down. After looking at my exhaust and discussing my options, they quickly welded it back together to get me back on the road. They will order a new muffler for my car and when it comes in I’ll be getting the old exhaust system totally replaced with all stainless steel. Excellent customer service and fair prices for quality work.”
“We were referred here by Gahr’s - another great shop - to get front strut assemblies and rear struts done on one of our trucks after being told by a shop in Virginia they needed to be replaced. Called them and made an appointment and everything was arranged. Well when we spoke to Whetzel this morning to make sure we were set with the night drop last night and everything was in stock, the owner picked up and said we don’t see the need to replace any of it and in fact were surprised we had been told they needed to be done by our shop down in Virginia. He said I do see some minor tire wear so we are still going to check the alignment and adjust as needed. He said the brakes all the way around were more than good for many more miles.We were greatly impressed by their honesty and frankness with us. They could have easily just done the work and kept quiet. Instead of getting 1,200.00 bucks from us, they simply got the 90 sum bucks for the 4 wheel alignment. We plan on using them for all of our future work when we are up for camp and visiting family. Moreover, I’m impressed by Gahr’s as well for recommending them. We don’t see things like this down in our part of Virginia. Gahr’s has helped us with one of our tractor tires and even stepped up on the one repair when he probably didn’t have to.Folks you can’t go wrong with either business in our humble opinion. The customer service was welcoming, genuine and just not found any many places much more.Happy Holidays and we will speak highly of Gahr and Whetzel any chance we’re able to.”

He was under the other estimate I received for tires last year. Last month we thought we were going to have a very costly repair, but he found the problem and it was an inexpensive fix. We would not have known if he had said we needed a transmission instead (like I have seen at dealerships, etc.). This tells me that he is an honest person as well.”

“We were camping nearby at Kozy Rest and had a flat tire on our way there with our travel trailer. Extremely easy to work with and delivered as promised during our family adventure limping into town on a spare tire. Decided it was time to replace all four tires and Eric was very accommodating to get them all ordered quickly with fair pricing. Then his crew was able to mount the new tires while I waited, two at a time since I could only bring him two off the trailer at a time. The state trooper called Mercer Auto Wreckers, and they were just wonderful. The young man who towed the car (Brian?) Was so very nice and reassuring. It was 12/9/23 at around 6:30 pm.
