This place is now at the top of my list. They carry the items that you won’t find in the majority of the shops in Western PA. The guys that work there are knowledgeable and welcome you as soon as you walk in the door. Drove about 4 hours round trip and am sure I will be making the trip again. Thanks for everything today!

This business is over an hour away from me and i still drive to this location because they have a great selection and are knowledgeable in the products they sell. They also offer Class III NFA items with a convenient register system. Most of what i’ve seen the prices are very fair. They care about protecting YOU!

Bought a p365 from defenders. Everyone is very knowledgeable and patient. Customer service is quick and easy. Best selection of guns in western PA. Hands down the best gun store!

Everytime I come in this store there's a guy talking to everyone, not asking if anybody needs help, not ringing up anything just chatting. Today I stood in this store (with only one other customer) for 10+ min while Sir Talks-a-lot flapped his lips, another guy on the phone and two guys standing around looking confused, on a Saturday afternoon. Took 10 min to get somebody to ring up a $40 magazine. I wanted to leave but I can't find the magazine anywhere online. Now that I've gotten it I'll never come back.

Love this shop. Truly. I would have given five stars but when I go in I feel like eyes are lasered on me. Maybe over thinking but I don't think I am. Kinda feel unwelcome. But overall I would say they have the top 3 best selection in Westmoreland county. I do recommend.

After driving right past this place for years, I finally stopped in over the weekend. The staff was very knowledgeable, listened and understood what I was looking for, and showed me all of the options they had available. On top of that, I brought in something to trade and they gave me a great offer. Overall I walked out a very happy customer and will definitely be a returning customer.
