I went here yesterday and the cashier Bruce was a complete jerk! Never acknowledged me, as he was scanninng my items ( glass ghost decor ) he was rough housing them just banging them into the bags, I asked him if he could be more cautious beings I am paying for these items and he absolutely ignored me and continued to drop the glass ghost into the shopping bags. I was appalled!! I asked if he could show me the items to make sure they were not broken before I bought them and he grabbed them up shoved them in my face then proceeded to drop them in the bag again with no care in world 👎👎👎👎👎
He never once said a single word to me. Not a good experience at all !!

DG needs to hire people that have customer facing skills. No one at checkout … continued to wait. Somebody finally rolled up to the checkout desk with phone in their face. This person cared less about making people wait, no greeting, no thank you, no apologies for making you wait! I felt like I was a major inconvenience to his phone time!

I am a frequent Dollar General shopper, today was my first time stopping at this particular store. Having a few hours to kill while accompanying a family member to the neighboring hospital for a surgical procedure. I decided to go check out the clearance, browse without being rushed & grab a few needed necessities. With the winter weather, I knew that any dairy or groceries I bought would stay cold . Everything went as planned made it home unloaded groceries went back to car to get gallon of milk and which time I realized I left it at store. I’ve been trying to reach them via telephone for the last six hours, have not been able to speak to anyone And I do not want to drive 40 minutes one way to pick up the gallon of milk just very Aggravated at the fact, I cannot reach or contact the store.

My daughter stopped to pick up a couple of cheap blankets for me. I wanted cheap ones because they were for my dog, who loves to play tug of war with them and they get shredded. The cashier told her the receipt was in the bag. When my daughter got home I had her return them as they were not what I wanted. Did not want to spend $25 on blankets that were going to be destroyed in the long run. Cashier refused the return due to no receipt, even though she had not been handed a receipt, but was told it was in the bag. Cashier hollered over to manager to verify no return without receipt. Manager never bothered to come over to handle the issue. She just hollered back that the only way to do a return was with a receipt. Once again…my daughter was never given a receipt. I attempted (and failed) to call the store to talk to the manager as I have 25+ years retail experience myself. Phone rang and rang and then went to a busy signal. I called a complaint in to corporate instead. The return needs to be honored as it is the not the customers fault that no receipt was given for a return to be done.

If you're looking for bananas this isn't the place. Burned out lightbulb, garbage bags, processed grilled cheese sandwich, oatmeal, spaghetti O's, cornbread, fingernail polish, socks, curtain rod, dog food, tape, t-shirts, matchbox cars, and pretty much anything else you can think of then this IS the place. You can't go wrong at DG!

Worst store ever id drive extra far just to not go here the blonde employee that works there was a complete b!tch to me and i will never shop here again...... biggest inconvenience store ever and half the time there not even open place is horrible

Never, ever open! It's not the staff!! Whomever owns this store is neglectful. Most stores are not even owned by individuals but by other companies. This store apparently has legitimate issues such as plumbing from my understanding. It's not always the workers. I do not work in retail anymore but I understand. Horrible bosses, corporations, ill mannered and ignorant, mindless consumers flooding every damn store from sun up until sun down is taking an emotional toll on everyone who is aware. If you're not aware. . WAKE UP!!!!! Too.... many... humans and people are tired of being abused by corporations, bosses and you.... the never ending complaining shopper!! Smh!!

I don’t have problems with employees or any items the only thing that bothers me is that you never know if is going to be open or close when you get there! There’s so many times that you arrive and is close when shouldn’t
